  2. I agree.. The Honda loved the skid pan Next time we should organise a bit more of an advanced course with cornering techniques and stuff. I don't know about you guys but i haven't had alot of teaching in this area especially. We really should have taken a proper camera guys! -Patrick
  3. That is 100% true. Having worked in the law industry before, I can say with certainty that as long as you have all the paperwork you will have no trouble. -Patrick
  4. I had this exact same problem. Hose popped off boost controller.. -Patrick
  5. Thanks. I will have a look for the PDF manual too. -Patrick
  6. Any chance you could point me towards them? I have searched extensively to no avail. Thanks, -Patrick

    Auto Salon

Nice to see you guys again, a big well done to leewah, and all the other who made it to the show (with car) i will hopefully be joining you next year Better get my arse to a couple more meetings, seems like i'm always upto my armpits in grease whenever a meeting is on.... That autobarn chick (stacey i think) the one on the right spent about 15 minutes trying to convince me to buy turbos from autobarn i spent the 15 minutes trying to convince her to come back to my house.. aaaanyway, should do some work -Patrick
  8. Did these instructions ever surface?? -Patrick
  9. I finally got my car together and running and have it on a permit. I'm told I can't get the car engineered with my current exhaust - no catalytic converters. Does anyone know a good exhaust shop in the northern suburbs that would be able to put two cats into my exhaust? Thanks, -Patrick
  10. Hey guys.. I have a quick question for you. Just got my GTR a couple of months ago and i'm trying to sort out a problem with idle - when you drive the car and take your foot off the accelerator, clutch in, revs drop to 0. I have fixed a few problems already: New o2 sensors, broken wire from rear AFM, lubricated all throttle linkages (these were sticking! scary!) One thing that I have noticed is that when the throttle is completely closed there is a ~1mm gap between the throttle stopper screw and the throttle mechanism. This means the throttle butterflies are closed 100% when not accelerating. Is this correct for an RB26, i know the AAC valve bleeds air past the throttle bodies to regulate idle speed, but is a small throttle opening still required? Can anyone help.. Thanks, -Patrick
  11. Yeah.. that bolt is a bit tight I pretty much wore out a rattle gun on mine..
  12. R32 crank collar is definitely a known point of failure in an RB26. I have pictures of how they wear at home if anyone is interested -Patrick

    oopsy!

    ouch..
  14. So to B0oStEr, if you disconnect the sensor the car should still run fine. How can you tell if the sensor still works? Does it give a varying voltage output? -Patrick
  15. What kind of boost sensor do they have on the R33+ series cars? -Patrick
  16. I also would like to know the answer to this question, as my standard boost gauge has been replaced by a 1.4bar mines one (r32 GTR) and it's not working.. Does anyone know the maximum value that this sensor can read? I don't mean the maximum the gauge can display, but the maximum the sensor can output. -Patrick
  17. shit. I missed this thread and was busy working on the car! Too late to come now
  18. I need a set (2) of air filters to fit on the end of Z32 afm's. Let me know if you can help, -Patrick
  19. bjgtir, PTR33 This is true for a diff ratio of 1:1. It is more accurate to say that the average of the speeds of the output shafts is equal to to the input speed divided by the diff ratio. -Patrick

How much does ben charge for his tuning services and does he do a good job? -Patrick
  21. Hmm, I go to latrobe too.. Somehow i don't think i will be parking the gtr there very often.. I'm pretty sure i have seen that car around, will keep an eye out
  22. Great, now all i need to do is find a car to get to the meeting with..
