Rossco Although it makes me sad you are leaving, Im also very happy for you with all the exciting things you've got going on at home this coming year!! You have done an outstanding job running the financials of this club over the last (I wanna say) 4 years. I know you have certainly made my life very easy while you've been around. You are a true professional and very very good at what you do - you should be proud of the impact you have had on the club. A big hole will be left in your position. Best of luck with eveything coming up!!

A fabulous day yesterday at Heathcote Raceway saw SAU Victoria take out the inaugural Tri Club Drag Challenge. The day pitted SAU Vic against the WRX and US Muscle Clubs to see who was fastest down the 1/4 mile. The day was covered by My Drive and 2 of our members Russell Cunningham and Luke Schulze were picked out of the crowd to be interviewed for the show. Huge congrats goes to Luke Schulze (NUTR33) for taking out the honours for the day with a 10.9 second pass. Russell,I'm fairly sure you've passed Tony now for number of dead drive shafts!!! Was great to catch up with everyone - cheers to all who came along to make it enjoyable Im sure there will be pics/video to come - and be sure to stay tuned for an annoucement on when the footage will be aired on TV.

THE FIRST FOR 2012 Sat 25 February And once again we ask for your assistance For this event to SMOOTH on TIME and SAFELY we need a small group of volunteers (OFFICIALS) to help out in 3 sections in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. All Officials on the day will be supplied lunch and drinks. An Officials breifing will be held before the drivers breifing. So all Officials will need to be at the Shepparton DECA complex before 8am on Saturday. Be aware NO DRIVERS BREIFING OR COMPERTITION will take place until all Officials positions have beed filled. When: Fri 24 & Sat 25 February Where: Tirana Motor Inn Address: 33 -37 Wyndham St, Shepparton Cost: $50 per person per night (if sharing) $85 per night to have a single person in a room by themselves If you would like a room, please let me know as soon as possible, they will want to release to the public whatever rooms we are not using in a few weeks. I need to know: * nights staying * how many people * what bed configurations you need (ie twin, double etc) If you are coming by yourself, that's fine, just let me know and I will team you up with somebody else to share a room with. Massive news!!! Channel 31 Automotive Program " MY DRIVE" is going to do a feature on our Tri Club Drag Day. Presenter Adam Tonkin is keen to cover all the action of the day! Including footage of the Cruise there, the Racing, the Show n Shine and interviews with some of the owners of the cars, so get on board, clean those cars, enter the drags or the Show N Shine or just make sure you get your name down to spectate.
