  2. Copied from MCCR website - After the success of the 2003 & 2004 cruise and the support which this group achieved through the Melbourne modified car scean, The Melbourne Car Cruise Registry in conjunction with The Herald-Sun and The Royal Childrens Hospital are proud to present the 2006 Good Friday Appeal Cruise, on Good Friday, the 14th of April, in support of The Royal Childrens Hospital Appeal. A lot of us and some parents have been associated in some way with the great work which the Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne has given the community. Now its our turn to give back to the hospital which has helped so many people in the Melbourne community, as well as people all around Australia and the world. We have been talking to the Royal Childrens Hospital as well as Channel Seven and the Victorian police and will be running a cruise to raise money for the hospital, to enure that the benefits of this great hospital is available for many years to come. The cruise will be running from Bunnings Warehouse in Vermont South and then be moving around to various points around Melbourne. Unfortunatly, due to health and saftey issues, we will be unable to use the "Telstra Dome" to park like last year. The Victoria Police have been notified about this cruise. All money raised from map sales will be put towards the appeal, as well as any money which you can add in the form of a donation. It will be a fun cruise, the more people and cars we get to come, the more money we raise. So get out there and spread the word about this cruise, it would be great to get as many cars as possible out there to show the community just what the modified car scean is about, but most of all, do it for the kids! GIVE THAT THEY MAY GROW!!!!!!!!! A very special thanks to Bunnings Warehouse for letting us use the Vermont South carpark to start this cruise. Meet Point - Vermont South Bunnings Warehouse - Burwood Hwy Vermont South. Date - Good Friday, 14th April 2004 Meet Time - 2.45pm Meet Depart - 4pm Bunnings Warehouse Vermont South Proud supporters of RCH appeal 2006 Original link - Here
  3. Hey all - just a friendly reminder that the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix is on this weekend. Pop in, say hi and have a drink or 15 with us. We will just behind Brock Hill with the cars for 4 days. Check our ticket prices HERE. Hope to see y'all there!!!
  4. Its not something I'd go for. Throwing it in will not make someone buy your car. On the other hand - if I'm going to buy the car, I'm going to buy it regardless. If driver training is thorwn in with that car then I guess thats not a bad thing.
  5. Bec wins $21million, Bec wins $21million. It could happen................ I bought a Tattslotto ticket. By the way - awesome stuff Petey. Hope you have a great time.

  10. You fill in a form, pay $85 and you get your CAMS license, as long as you are a current member of a CAMS affiliated club (ie. SAU Vic). Either Snowman, Chris, myself or any committee member should be able to sort you out with your CAMS license. You can race in as many or as little of the Club Championship rounds as you like - its completely up to you. Last year we had some guys do all 8 track days with the WRX club and some only did 1. Its your call. A few of the boys will more than likely also do some extra days at Sandown (Maserarti Club) or Phillip Island (PIARC) throughout the year.
  11. Yep - shouldn't be a problem, as long as he has a current CAMS license and is a current member of a CAMS affiliated club.

  16. Ahhhh the memories - this time last year we were at your 21st, watching Mel do handstands on a keg!!! Hope you have an ace day/night and get heaps of cool stuff. Will have some drinks soon to celebrate.
  17. The wind once blew my door into another parked car. The quotes were $500 - $800 - luckily she picked the cheap one - so I was looking at $500. I got the lady's permission to ring the repair company - asked them how much cheaper it would be if I gave them cash and he knocked $130 off the price. Worth a shot.
