OK.... its on again and I have booked us the hotel in Shepp for the upcoming DECA. When: Fri 18 & Sat 19 March Where: Tirana Motor Inn Address: 33 -37 Wyndham St, Shepparton Website: (if you wanna have a look) http://www.tiranamot...websyte.com.au/ Cost: $50 per person per night (if sharing) $85 per night to have a single person in a room by themselves If you would like a room, please let me know as soon as possible, they will want to release to the public whatever rooms we are not using in a few weeks. I need to know: * nights staying * how many people * what bed configurations you need (ie twin, double etc) If you are coming by yourself, that's fine, just let me know and I will team you up with somebody else to share a room with. Let me know here, by email, by PM or by phone. The sooner you tell me, the easier you make it for me. *** NOTE - if the hotel books out, preference will be given to those staying both nights. SAU VIC General Meeting Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8.00pm start, dinner from 6.30 ish Date - Tuesday 21 December 2010 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) We will be UPSTAIRS Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone!!!!! Members, non-members, adults, kids, grandma's, Collingwood supporters, etc - anyone with an interest in the club is welcome to come along to these meetings MERCHANDISE - If anyone wants any merch brought along - PM Birds. DOOR PRIZES - This month we will be giving away 6 prizes. Each prize will be a $50 voucher. The vouchers will be from various places. First name drawn out gets first choice and so on. All prizes donated by SAU Victoria. TROPHIES - We will present all of the 2010 trophies at this meeting:- Motorsport Championship, DECA, Show n Shine & Club Awards. XMAS CELEBRATION - SAU Vic will be putting on a drink and some fingerfood for all current members. Come down and have a chat and say your Merry Xmas's. Hope to see you all there.

It's on again - the annual club-member awards. These categories are separate to the track awards and will be presented at the final club meeting of 2010 - Tuesday 21st December. This is a chance to reward those members who make that extra effort and who really make the club what it is - a true honour to acheive. All members are eligible to vote and all members are eligable for all of following categories. We ask that you keep your specific nominations private by sending an email to the address below. Last I heard they werent letting anyone use the facility. When Dutton goes there, spectators arent even allowed in teh facility to watch and Kev has a deal that allows Driver Dynamics to use it. By all means... if you have a number/contact, let me or Ryan know and we can suss it out, but Im guessing the Saab guys got in there coz someone was sleeping with someone and got a favour in return

List updated again. At this stage, I dont have a bed for you Dave. Id suggest you book a room at the Tudor 5821 8411 for now, there are a few other ppl staying there as well and its only a minute walk from the Tirana. If anything opens up, I'll let you know.
