LOL - Age, you my friend are always welcome RE Passengers: They are permitted providing you wear helmet, appropriate clothing, etc. But..... if a car has a passenger, the rule is only one car down the strip at a time. Priority for the day will be for drivers to get as many runs as possible. We will definately be able to squeeze in some runs for passengers but it will not be all day. Hope this helps

  6. Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8.00pm start, dinner from 6.30 ish Date - Tuesday 22 June 2010 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) We will be UPSTAIRS Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone! MERCHANDISE - Let me know if there is anything you would like me to bring along for you to look at. Hope to see you all there.
  7. Hey Russ - There was 6 of you and you guys had 6 beds in 2 rooms. If its just for Friday, Im sure he can be squeezed in somewhere. Shouldnt be an issue at all. I wont be online again - Ive got 11 billions things to do at work and we are leaving for Shepp later this arvo. If you need me, call me. I'll have to sort it out once im up there.

  17. I checked with Heathcote management for you and they have advised you do not need a valid license. (Note - I am getting a 2nd opinion, coz it doesnt sound right to me) RE: Cost - I have booked it as a private day for Skylines Australia Victoria and we have invited the WRX Club to come as well. I assume they are charging us more as we will have the facility to ourselves. RE: Laps - No idea Mat, PaulR33 and BassJunky have been able to fit in 20+ runs on previous occassions. Will depend on weather, number of competitors, incidents, etc, etc. Id say you will get more laps than you'd get if you went to Calder though.

You've all been asking for it, well now here it is!!!!! 2010 SAU Vic DRAG DAY Where: Heathcote Park Raceway When: Sat 3 July Cost: $60 to drive, $20 to spectate Time: Gates open 9am Racing from 11am - 4pm The Canteen will be open throughout the day. I have also been advise that HP Heaven will come along to take some pictures/video of the event http://www.hpheaven.com.au/ There will be a cruise up there posted closer to the event. meet now up Please post your interest here.
