  1. Will do Juliette. Tim - if you like we could squeeze a few more into your room so you and Campbell have to share a bed again
  2. Yeah sorry about that - insurance would'nt have a bar of it. Absolutely we can find you something to do where your sitting. Chuck your name up in the volunteer thread and we will work something out for ya.
  3. Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8.00pm start, dinner from 6.30 ish Date - Tuesday 16 March 2010 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone! UPDATE: GUEST SPEAKER Will Day will be guest speaking (thanks Pat for organising). Here is a bit of a run-down of what he will be chatting to us about, he spent a lot of time with Nissan in the Test & Dev in the era of the R32 GTR 1. In production – We were still building R31 Skylines (including SVD) together with Pulsars and Pintaras when I was in manufacturing. 2. In development – I was in the test group for the whole development program of the N14 Pulsar. We also did the local certification of the R32 GTR and can explain the local mods that were made. 3. Spare parts support – Some of the horror stories for ongoing supply of spares, particularly on low volume specials like the GTR and SVD Skyline GTS. MERCHANDISE - Let me know if there is anything you would like me to bring along for you to look at. Hope to see you all there.
  4. Ash - sorry champ, was just that I knew he needed it ASAP (as he stated) and that's why I reiterated what he needed to do (in this case) coz I didn't want you to confuse him and him not have it sorted in time. Anyways Pete - best of luck I hope you get it all sorted in time For future if ppl need to get a CAMS license in a short period of time - You do not need to be part of the club to apply for CAMS, you need to be part of the Club for your license to be valid (ie useable). You can do them both at the same time, as long as you have both documents by the event. The CAMS will take a week at least to process, so sometimes you will need to apply for that before SAU Vic membership has been finalised and sent out. But yeah - much easier if you plan ahead
  5. Can put you on mini wang finish or timing on the skidpan in the morning - then you can sit
  6. Has 4 beds - another guy Campbell knows (called Mark) has been PMing me, am putting him in with Dean and the other 2 as well. Assuming this is why your asking
  7. No worries Juliette, will remove you from the entry list. Perhaps we can interest you in a complimentary lunch, in exchange for your services as an official
  8. Did you break your right or left leg?? I'll check with insurance as soon as I have all the info, but Id say its highly unlikely you'll be allowed.
  9. Peter - the above is incorrect, do NOT wait to apply for the CAMS license, you need to do it right away or you run the risk of not getting it in time for Calder. You need to get the Level 2 Speed (L2S) license - Click Here When you go to the track day, make sure you have your CAMS license and your SAU Vic membership card, as your CAMS license is not valid without your valid membership card. As I said, if you need more help or have questions, just PM me.
