  1. NOTE This meeting will be our Annual General Meeting. Financials etc will be presented. We will then hold a short cruise to a nearby location (beachish) and hold a photoshoot. Come along so we can get some shots to represent the club. Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 7.30pm start, cruise to leave shortly after 8pm Date - Tuesday 17 November 2009 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone!   7. LOL Tim - OR..... an uber exciting, fun-filled day helping Bec and Ryan set up at DECA (followed by Jack in the pool) No worries at all Juliette - as you requested, you have a room to yourself. So either way will be fine. If he does come, you'll just have to let the hotel know when you arrive
  8. Im happy to give you guys some of the Vic events, but we are in the same boat as QLD. Our motorsport doesnt really start up again until the start of Feb, and we dont tend to get any dates till mid December. A word of warning.... if you come to Vic in Feb - chances are its going to be very hot. Might be better to make it slightly later (ie March/April) and hope for some cooler weather. The SAU drivers usually attend the PI track day run by the WRX Club (usually March) as its part of our motorsport championship. If you want help with Vic events, just keep reminding me as it nears the end of the year

  21. From Kamikaze: Shui is currently working with the administrators. The company is NOT bankrupt, it is simply under external administration until they can work financials out. If you need something, you can contact them on 9894-7844.
  22. *shakeshead* That's a fairly disappointing reaction to a guest speaker who is generously donating his personal time to come and share his knowledge/expertise with our members. Unfortunately Shui was unable to make last months meeting, which he has apologised for. Sometimes these things happen. Chad - try and drag AP along as well!!!
