  1. LOL - yup I had a sweet summer this year doing pretty much that Now I have to start looking for work though - summers over, back to reality
  2. No - there will be 2 shows One at the GP at end of the month - more just a display thing (not part of the show series) and then one later in the year at the Exhibition Centre (part of the show series and usually October ish)

  7. NOTE This meeting will be held as an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) as we will be electing the 2009 Committee. Current nominations can be found here - Click Here I urge all current members to come along and have a say in who will be running the club this year. Also if anyone would like to express their interest in being on committee, you can post in the above thread. Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8.00pm (Dinner from 7.00pmish) Date - Tuesday 17 March 2009 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone! MERCHANDISE - ALL Merchandise will be available for sale at this meeting. Come see me. SAU Polo Shirts (both colours in all sizes) - get yours now for summer. CALENDARS As most of you will now be aware, SAU Vic produced 2009 Calendars. All current SAU Vic members will receive a free copy if collected. Come along to the meeting and pick up your copy. Hope to see you all there.

LOL @ * Funnels on Friday night as soon as Adz arrived (before dinner) * Antics around the pool * Schmiko and all those black smirnoffs * Gate!!! * Shane not being able to hold a convo at dinner * Walking into the Aussie Bar (just me, Dee and Kylie) and straight into the middle of an in-all-brawl * Ryan pretending to be gay * Wayne * Leon - aka "Stand in Brisby" * Sarah drinking 1/3 of a margharita and Adz finishing it * The 2 old sleezeballs at Rawhide * Eating food from Mobil at 3am coz someone thought it would be tastier than the hot dog van - im not sure how, but it was better * Adrian on Sunday morning - "Why are my pants wet??"

  19. OK - so most of you will be aware that DECA is on this Saturday and as always, teh event wont go ahead unless we get enough people to help out. So we are calling for your assisstance - if your willing to help, or if your bringing a friend whos willing to help - please speak up All officials will be given a free BBQ lunch and water etc during the day. We also need all officials to be at DECA by 8.00am on Saturday morning - same time as competitors.   20. DB Shell isnt there anymore - there is a huge BP servo about 15 minutes past that though - id use that as your meet point
  21. Yup - can see it clear as day from my place and traffic is insane. If anyones in the area and doesnt need to be - get out!! Am hoping everyone I know up there is OK and have been able to get out or back in alright.

  23. Yeah Ash is aware DECA is one this weekend as well. If it wasnt, id be at this event for sure. I urge anyone in Melbourne this weekend to attend this event if you can as its for a great cause. & spread the word - the more people at this event, the greater the contribution to the bushfires will be. Good job Ash on getting it up and running
