  1. Food, Beer, Talks, People, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8.00pm (Dinner from 7.00pmish) Date - Tuesday 17 June 2008 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) - see map below Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone! MERCHANDISE - ALL Merchandise will be available for sale at this meeting. Come see me. SAU Polo Shirts (both colours in all sizes), 2008 Calendars, etc. GUEST SPEAKER- Representatives from Wolf EMS will be coming along on the night to have a chat to us. Hope to see you all there.

    Snow Season

yeah - anythign down the Dinner Plain side would be awesome for pics id suggest trying somewhere like Lake Mountain - there is a huge car park at the top and along the roads there are a couple as well. would make it easy for pics, but youd have to check if there was snow and how far down it went

    Snow Season

^^ spot on. The only thing I have to add is: 1. Just coz snow season starts next weekend, doesnt mean there will be snow - make sure you investigate where you are going before you make the long drive expecting pics of your car with the white stuff. 2. If you've never driven in snow/ice before, for god's sake be careful - its a whole new world
  10. plus she's one dirty biatch!!!
  11. Have been informed that this Sunday, the 1st June at 11AM on Channel 7 is the Review of Targa Tasmania 2008. Have a look (or set your VCR's) if you get the chance.
  12. clerk of course on Sunday morning jarrod you will need to sign in as a "photographer" and wear a pretty yellow rave vest it shouldnt be a problem, but they will have strict guidlines on where you can and cant go
  13. Jack (JAGR33) and Irene welcomed baby Stephanie into the world this afternoon at 2.45pm. Mother and daughter both doing very well. Congratulations Jack, am so glad everything went well.

LOL - thats the spirit Rush!!!
  17. If you are able to get to CAMS before the track day, its advisable. Just way less hassle for you and the officials in the morning of the event. CAMS offices are located 851 Dandenong Road, Malvern East, Vic, 3145. Or even if you fill out a form and send it to them and ask them to fax you back the temporary license - they are pretty helpful if you tell them the date you need it by. Also, when using a CAMS license, you will need to present your current SAU Vic membership card as well - so just make sure you also have that and th expiry date is still current. If its not, shoot me a PM and I can get it sorted with Kaz for you. If you need anymore info re CAMS, feel free to PM me - OR..... if you cant sort your CAMS out before the event, you better PM me as well.
