It's SAU Vic Social Meeting time. That's right, Beer, Food, Beer, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8:00pm (Dinner from 7:00ish) Date - Tuesday 20 November 2007 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) - see map below Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. Micolor specialises in panel beating and spraying of cars. Mick has been in the panel beating industry for many years working on some of the World's finest makes and models. Mick will be making a presentation on the types of work he does, the products he uses, methods and procedures of panel beating/painting and other areas. Hahahaha - Gareth trying to make the GTR an actual '4WD' was gold. Sydney weather FTL!! Im still exhausted. Tom - can we get all the video I took on your camera to me or Chris somehow. Overall an awesome week though, I had an absolute ball and thanks to everyone for making it such a great experience. Being back at work hurts

Ive been waiting to see these pics. Is so true though - insurance protects you from morons, as well as yourself. Again - glad your both fine, and hey look at it this way, your dad now needs another car, hint at the new GTR (except he might be waiting a while)

Nope Jar - sorry. Photoshop is something that has been somewhat lacking this year, so we thought we would try out a new category in its place "Rookie of the Year".

OK - quick update, there are still about 6 rooms left at the Tudor. They are knocking back other bookings to keep these rooms reserved for us. Ive been given a deadline of Wednesday 14 November, as of this date the rooms will be available to the public again. So if you are coming to DECA for the weekend, please book a room quickly. It's on again - the annual club-member awards. These categories are separate to the track awards and will be presented at the final club meeting of 2007 - Tuesday 18th December. This is a chance to reward those members who make that extra effort and who really make the club what it is - a true honour to acheive. All members are eligible to vote and all members are eligable for all of following categories. We ask that you keep your specific nominations private by sending an email to the address below.
