I'll 2nd you Gameshow

It's SAU Vic Social Meeting time. That's right, Beer, Food, Beer, Cars, Beer and laughs! These social meetings are divided into two parts, the first if your hungry is a meal from the bistro and a chance to have a chat with other members then the second is a short informal meeting. We use these meetings to give quick rundowns on past events with video's, pictures and stories etc, to address pressing matters, tell members what's happening behind the scenes and for discussion on upcoming events. It's all pretty relaxed and fun. This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix as new faces are always welcomed. Time - 8:00pm (Dinner from 7:00ish) Date - Tuesday 16 January 2007 Location - Bell's Hotel, 157 Moray St, South Melbourne (Cnr Moray St & Coventry St Melways Ref - 57, G1) - see attached map Note - This Pub is family friendly with an area set aside for us. There is plenty of seating (tables and chairs) and meals for all. Who is welcome - Everyone! MERCHANDISE - ALL Merchandise will be available for sale at this meeting. Come see me. WOW - I cant believe you guys. You are scared of a stranger outside of your car, so why the hell would you let him/her in!!! If someone outside looks dodgy or suss, the last thing you should do it is let them in. As said above - IF they happen to kick the car, big deal - if you let them in and they have a weapon of some sort, then you could be in all kinds of trouble. Best place for strangers = NOT in your car (especially at night or when you are alone). My tip if approcahed again - lock your doors and drive away.

Winton Raceway in North East Victoria is holding a training/information day on Sunday January 14th 2007 and all new comers are encouraged to attend. The day will cover all aspects of being a Race Official/Marshal. OK - curiosity got the better of me - Im gunna ask WHY (coz for the life of me, I cant work out why it matters) if you have the fine and you have a due date for payment, etc - then why is it so urgent that you need to know when the curtosy letter is coming??? am I missing something?

As everyone has said above, there is no EXACT time frame. If you have an infringement notice coming your way, it will arrive eventually. EDIT: you said you got pulled over and got the fine, shouldn't that be it then??

Can you rent those things in Vic anywhere????

Plus last year one of the places we went had champagne and another place sold a 'local' beer as well. But yeah - its all about the WINE!!! (It's OK - after your 1st bottle, you'll forget how much you didn't like wine)

Have read the Supp Regs closely and nowhere can I see that Driver Training is mandatory for 1st time track users, although I do beleive it is encouraged and well worth doing. That being said, if you would like to discuss Driver Training further you can email Lyn (the WRX Club Motorsport Director) on [email protected] or call after hours on 0409 183 513.
