  4. Make sure the car is charging for one. Im sure if the car sits for weeks on end, without being started - it would only be a matter of time before a new battery get to the same level as your current battery. Best thing I have seen to fix this is a 900milliamp trickle charger from k-mart, just leave it hooked up whilst your not running it. Will keep your battery happy and also will keep your alarm happy. Cheers Sumo
  5. you cut the corner by buying a very nasty turbo, and you want to cut the corners again by getting someone to balance it cheaper? If I were you, I would try and sell it to buy a garrett or HKS unit. But the time you balance it etc, It might only last a couple of months. Cheers Sumo
  6. sweet as.
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...70&goto=newpost Check out this thread for coils.
  8. Any one had any exp. with a 2.5ltr turbo diesel Ford Courier 4x4? Hilux would be my first choice, but yeah, I need a work vehicle basically. Cheers Sumo
  9. Hi all, I have to get rid of my R33 GTST and get into a more practicle vehicle for my job. I need a vehicle to throw my tools into the back of. A Hilux/Navara/Rodeo would suit my needs but they have to be diesel and 4x4. Dual cab or Crew cab would be fine also. My car is as follows. 1996 Series 2 R33 3inch 5zigen exhaust Pod Electronic Boost Controller 17" enkei mags New rubber (as of thursday) 86000kms. Will be able to fit JVC+12 stacker if buyer wants it (as the current pioneer cd player was a gift and I will get shot if I let it go with the car) Was chasing a 4x4 of equvilent value $18-19k. Email me at [email protected] Location: Gunnedah, Near Tamworth NSW. Cheers Sumo
  10. being unregistered is a fairly good reason to not let a car on the road. Sumo
  11. Get a Kenworth. will tow 12 cars at one time. Cheers Sumo
  12. Hehe, Big browns bombs. Weighed enough to feed all the ethiopian countries for a year.
  13. I gotta go drop some bombs.
  14. Save someone elses life by not towing 1500 odd kgs with a falcodore. Either way you look at it, you'll need the whole electric brake setup - Im not sure what the weight is before you need a electric break-away system. Yes diesels do rake in top dollar, but they are better built to cope with the load that is being thrown at them. How many times do you see an overloaded falcodore sitting down in the arse end and think "thats just down right dangerous" Cheers Sumo
  15. I agree with the old 4x4 comment, I hate towing with petrols.... Cheers Sumo
  16. You could go for a jap exhaust system..... I would look at www.nismo.com.au and on the forsale part of this forum
  17. Lol, they would have to land a pretty good one on you otherwise, they would find they have one big angry beaver thats going to romp them once he gets ahold of them. Cheers Sumo
  18. Fair enough, but all you need is precious time to get home for some corporal punishment I know it sounds like im a keyboard warrior and all, I would love to get my hands on a theif...... just one on one. Cheers Sumo
  19. Hungry6: thats a good idea. I probably dont need it where I live, but I was thinking when they put down the slab in my new house I could make up a plate with reinforcement to go down into the slab and come up above. In a shed slab we layed 3 years ago we had this sort of setup for twisting truck chassis's back square. Or I could just make up a 60 point immobiliser. Once you start breaking more electrical connections things stuff up and dont work - then you've got to go fault finding. Cheers Sumo
  20. Love it, Thats some nice work their mate..... I would love to have a wallet that fat Cheers Sumo

Im not completely sure, but wouldn't they just cap the abs lines off? Its just a piggy back for your brake lines?
  24. How many places can you sit in your back yard, suck XXXX or VB or Tooheys with half a dozen of your mates, make rude comments about how big those shelia's breasts are, watch the Footy (Whatever code you follow), drive a skyline. Sure I might get taxed till my bum bleeds, but that is a small price to pay. Cheers Sumo
