  1. The mousepad soaked some beer, the rest I sucked up off my desk.... Only time a grown man cries is when something happens to his beers.... or skyline.
  2. Say hi to your mates mum for me Cheers Sumo
  3. I just wanna click a button!
  4. bwhahahha I just tried drifting my keyboard and spilt my beer. Sumo
  5. I owned my 33 GTST on my green P's, and im grateful that I was allowed own such a nice car whilst I was on them. Too many people just jump on the bandwagon (P platers should do this or that). Not everyone on their p plates is out to do 180km/h in the main street of their given town, just the c*ckheads - which car be found IN ANY TYPE OF CAR. For instance Friday night I saw a sigma doing 80+km/h down the main street of the town I live in - does this mean we should ban them too. Im off my plates now (have full licence) but I think what we should have is an area where people can stretch the legs of their cars, really open them up - but in a controlled environment. Im sure plenty of other enthusiasts agree that, they would much prefer to open their cars up where they cannot hit people crossing streets and have other cars pulling out infront of them. I don't want to endanger the public, but I also don't want to spend my entire apprentice wage travelling 500kms to Sydney to get to a skidpan. Its time for something to be done, I'm sure if the government could intergrate and skidpan day and driver training day alot could be learnt - young and old. Cheers Sumo
  6. check for shavings etc.
  7. Not even an original steering wheel??
  8. I know when I was looking around for my current GTST alot of people said "don't buy it if your on a budget" But apart from normal running costs and a $450 Clutch that I fitted myself, it drives like a new one. I haven't overboosted the stock turbo or given it any reason to blow up, and it has not cost me any more in maintinence then any other car I have owned. I would like to get a R33 GTR to be my weekend play car, and get rid of the GTST. But Ill just have to wait and see. Cheers Sumo
  9. They are only looking out for you man through their own previous expiriences.... I have read stories of how much its costs to fix if something throws a leg outta bed. Look at it this way - The better you treat her, the better she will treat you. Cheers Sumo
  10. hehehe, its all squizzes fault.
  11. sounds like you need someone who knows what their doing to do your work. Sumo

    4wd

Parts? Well seriously, you'll need a transfer case, front diff, new sump, all the electrics associated with attessa (thats the part that scares me) You need sensors on wheels to detect slippage. By the time to do all this Your going to have a pretty hacked up GTST and it will cost you a small fortune. If you do infact want a baby gozilla - buy a GTS4 (R33 I assume we are talking) and drop an rb 26 in... Cheaper then 4wd'ing a rwd car. Cheers Sumo

  14. Lol, Im a spoilt rich kid that throws tantrums.
  15. shif_tea: Depends on the suppliers - Some places we can buy all the auto elec stuff at trade price, but if I were to go to buy their 240 volt gear - we get no discount. (I know as we needed fluro lights for the workshop) I have heard with places like repco, once your setup with an account with them, you have access to their whole range - although im only going on what I have been told. Cheers Sumo
  16. hahahah, damn right he got owned
  17. NSN180: its your car, you can put cheap arsed autobarn filters that suck dust particles the size of rocks into your engine.
  18. I want an r33 GTR, but finance will be an issue for me too.... I mean, who has $10k just lying around for no intended purposes? I drive like a grandma tho, So hopefully I would get longer out of it then most others.
  19. I would be scared of trying to run 18 PSI without having or even understanding the supporting systems needed to support this sort of boost. First of all, do some reading and try to understand how others go about making this power rather then "just screwing" up the boost. To be honest I would be scared running the stock ECU and trying to run that boost, all you need is a leaning out and you son may score a hole in your piston. Cheers Sumo
  20. Try not to do that, put a ammeter across it... Spikes are painful, and I have seen them blow up a regulator on an altenator. Sparks are how the bush mechanics go about things.... Cheers Sumo
  21. But, the spring rate is adjustable - its not a constant. What should happen is any pressure that gets passed should be bled off. But if you get enough air flow, the bleeder might only be able to bleed off 1/2 PSI, so the wastegate will see full boost. I did physics at school, and even though that the ideas of DC motors, magnetism and electricity stay the same, I have not once in my trade had to resort to using the basic equations. Cheers Sumo
  22. Lets get rid of text book crap, and think along the lines of flow - how hydraulic diagrams are drawn. Boost pressure ---> Screw Sol ---> Wastegate So if screw sol wont let boost past till its 13psi, wastgate sees 0 psi. Cheers Matt
  23. does your head unit supply your amp? Just check to make sure your amp isn't staying on...
