  1. Ummm, thats not always right. Anything with a jap brand sticker on is dearer because they have put their name on it. You dont seriously think they they produce *everything* they sell? Sumo
  2. geez that sucks d*ck bad. hrmm, we will have to protect our selves with something like a twin barrelled, belt feed, grenade launcher attached, elephant gun. That would stop the theiving farks. Sumo
  3. that quite a cluster of gauges alright, mr plod wont knock you for them?
  4. make sure that you get a good job done on the machining of the rotors, people think that if they whack a new set of pads in, its all done, but you have gotta machine the rotor.
  5. bonzelite: are you one of the fab 5?
  6. If your cheap, just go for a set of bendix metal kings, they aren't a track pad, but they stand up to a bit of fun around town. $70 a set I think is their going price Sumo
  7. slip, that sounds a good price you got, I was told $380ea for 235/40/17 S03's when I want to do my steers. Sumo
  8. did you read that thread thats been in this section? The coil packs had hair line cracks and were earthing to the body, so they insulated them with tape and the car was as good as new. Sumo
  9. When we did the clutch on my 33, we used an old shaft from the wreckers to line the splines up on the clutch to the hole it sits in.... other wise you could be up sh*t street trying to get it to line up. And r33's have a heavy arsed box - not sure if they are the same as r32's, but you need 2 big blokes Sumo
  10. hahahaha, those skylines got owned
  11. lol, i picked my gf up in a WB ute.... now that gets em going the skyline to her is just another car Sumo
  12. where are the big pics???
  13. You just gotta work hard and save, no point in putting yourself into debt by taking out a big loan, my first car was a WB ute, I saved as much as I could and bought a 96 r33 gtst, and you appreciate knowing that you owe nothing on it too. I live in rural NSW too, so car theft isn't to bad - its too technical for the locals to break into a car let alone start it and drive off. So I only pay for Third Party Property insurance incase I run into a BMW. Sumo

  17. lol, thats the spirit. we had a bit of rain recently, and thats when the d**kheads come out to play tyres cost too much to do it in the dry Sumo
  18. how many letter/numbers do you get in WA?
  19. I cant get over how good this looks, and its got a RB25DET conversion! http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=1698
  20. makes sense, Thats what I was thinking ages ago e.g. no matter how big your donk is it will still only have X amount a kw lost to the drivetrain, because everything else has stayed the same. yet you hear of people quoting loss in percentages - which make work for cars with the stock output (what the loss percentage has been calculated around) Sumo
  21. Also, if you altenator is not earthed properly it'll cause some wired problems, we have had a few people with problems like that, and with skylines (r33's), their earth is in a bastard of a position - e.g. it doesn't run right up to the engine, so it really relys on making perfect contact with the chassis.
  22. I vote for squadren too, or a Regiment Sumo
  23. only way to stop them is to disable them by breaking their legs and arms. it works in theory Sumo
  24. man october's a long wait.... the jap warfies might be lucky to leave you a set of tires for your troubles. Sumo
