  4. Obseshn: lol, I hacked my slimline plate to fit on my series 2 bar The coppers dont even notice the mod, all you need is a pair of tin snips Sumo
  5. DJ987: rb25 is on drugs, thats why he doesn't know what he is talking about.
  6. My car felt completely different when I changed the diff oil (its nearly as good as doing the gearbox:) ) It quitened it down and I was able to do double peggers insted of single Sumo
  7. if you get under the car you see see if the cars had a hit, mine has had a hit up the arse before, and only realised it when I got under the change the diff oil
  8. I got a 5Zigen exhaust and I love it.... very meaty sound when your fair up it, but a very low and intimidating sound at idle
  9. 15kws? man I had better get one ASAP
  10. sigsputnik, get an amp meter, and see if you can trackdown the drain, my cousin wondered why his battery on his commo went flat, and it turned out to be his new sheepskin seat covers holding the electric motor on the VT commo seats on continiously. So sillier things have happend!
  11. one way i assume to test is to see when you have the car at idle to have one bloke under the bonnet and have one bloke turning the a/c on and off. You should be able to hear the load from the a/c vary the rpm of the idle.
  12. afaik a/c's have a pressure switch, when the pressure gets to low, the switch breaks the circuit so that the clutch cannot engage.
  13. GTS = no turbo GTT = turbo Sumo
  14. cant you get an old fridge box from ur local retravision?
  15. For the white whales as I have one, its QM1.... Now go look on the plate for "QM1" punched in their somewhere (I know its there cause I have seen it on mine). Sumo
  16. Also, could be your flasher unit has packed it in.
  17. abo bob: traffic? pffft, since when has it been that hard to push a clutch in? People are getting lazy these days
  18. s13drifter is on the money! The diesel pugs here (specifically the 406) get better fuel economy then most of your little petrol shitters, and they would outrun an excel Sumo
  19. Eagle 1 is the best tire shine/exterior rubbers and plastics I have ever used. The panel beaters got polish on those rubber strips on the roof of my cousins VT commo, and they all cracked and faded, but the eagle 1 bought them back to life. tis good stuff
  20. Starters should not squeal, unless it is sticking in after the car starts, which means you can blow the arse out of the starter. Starters can get that much grime on them that the drives on them dont pull back in real fast. If it is the starter thats sticking in I would get it rebuilt asap, will save you having to buy another!
  21. It acctually sucks too have a nice car these days Sumo
  22. I thought aluminium would be the go so that I could polish it up and have some bling appeal, with the amount of air being sucked in would heatsoak worry it?
  23. Im going, but leaving the 33 at home... Im going in pure bogan style in a HSV senator Sumo
  24. I assume the foam assisted friction mount is the same is mine? put a bit of foam around it and let it slide in your boot??
