  1. Im thinking I have a stuffed exhaust gasket too somewhere along the line, because every time when I start my car (slow down and sit in one spot) I get lots of fumes in the cabin.

  8. Well the rb25det has more pontential to run a bigger turbo, and therefore create more power. On a stock engine the rb25det im told has no worries working away at 250rwkw all day long, but the rb20det is starting to get streched of its capabilities. Sumo
  9. What do you guys think of Wan Li tyres? I can get the fitted for $175 for a 235/45/17 and was thinking about putting them on my steer. Sumo
  10. Torque Split Controller would be a GTR thing I would think. You cant torque split your rear diff - That I know of anyway

  12. In my old 202 it was the hydraulic lifters, and my GTS-T makes this same sound. I was told cheap oils can make your car do this, but I have been running fully synthetic in mine, so Im not too sure whats going on. Anyways, It never hurt my 202 and my 33 is going strong.

  14. Driving through Tamworth one night there was a VT/VX with black windows and big chrome mags. I just thought it was a standard V8 till I found him beside me doing 60, then he just lit the thing up.... I was like wtf. Then he took off and nearly ran into the arse end of some old granny. After that I kept my distance. Same night I had a run against a orange RX3/808 or capella, I dont know my rotaries that well, and was he kept climbing up to the line to egg me on, soon as it turned green I dropped it and got away pretty quickly, beat him by a mile.... but when he caught up he revved his car up to make the BOV go off... Sumo

DJ, I would only use a semi synth too, heres a list of soarer engines 2.5L 6 CYL TURBO MPFI 1990-97 Oil FF Z418 92 90915-20001 3.0L 6 CYL TURBO MPFI 1986-97 Oil FF Z418 92 90915-20001 4.0L V8 MPFI 1990-97 Oil FF Z418 92 90915-20001 By the sounds of it the NA use the same filter as the Turbo. Sumo
  22. Also, im not to sure on how the Attesa system works, but I would get the oil dropped out of the transfer case and replace that too. If you drain your brakes and put a Dot 5 fluid in there I makes a big improvement (unless you have already done this...) Cheers Sumo
  23. Engine oil - Mobil Syn 1 - you need 4.5ltrs G'box oil - Redline lightweight shockproof - 3.6ltrs Diff oil - Shell Fully Syntheic diff oil (for LSD and non LSD)- 2 litres. The last one is what im using in my diff, It quitend it down a fair bit (and I regained my double pegger skidz ability)... But you will probably need 2x as much because you have a diff at the front. Since you are servicing a GTR dont be a cheap arse, the car will love you for every bit of lube. Try and get who ever is doing it to grease the uni joints in both tailshafts too, coz I could bet my left nut that the japs wouldn't have botherd.

  25. You cant really diagnose something like that over the net, But most of the people here will tell you a band-aid solution like put a good quality oil in there. Its up to you but I would be inclined to get a mechanic/gbox specialist to take it for a spin. Sumo
