My car is the same as Ash's, It idles pretty high till it warms up
  2. On start up its usually just your lifters.... Try mobil 1 synthetic in your next oil change (or another good quality oil) and the problem should dissappear Sumo
  3. Dry solder join?, if I was you, I would save up a weekend and check it all out. Its pretty hard to diagnose across the net, but it sounds like something isn't making contact. Sumo
  4. JVC's all the way man! Best bang for your buck Sumo
  5. I replaced my diff with shell helix fully synth diff oil and have noticed that the diff isn't as noisy (I may be scitz tho) and I now do double peggers.... not one leggers? Sumo
  6. Puppaduck: it is a very good idea to do the clutch whilst the gearbox is off the car.... will save u in labour. Sumo
  7. You dont want your thrust bearing going to pieces man, that might cause some issues... Mine got noisy, so I replaced the clutch and the thrust bearing at the same time... its not really that hard of a job, but you need some strong blokes and a car hoist or pit. Cheers Sumo
  8. nah man, dont weld it on, u will fk yourself over if you ever need to work on it/replace it. Ask someone who is in the game to have a look at ur car, it shouldn't be too hard Sumo

  10. That all makes sense fella's, but this begs for the next question - At what PSI does the actuator open the wastegate? SUmo
  11. mine does the same, im not to sure what it is... just how it feels like your flicking the arse end out but u haven't broken traction in the first place. I have a feeling that it was something to do with the 4 wheel steer. Thats a guess, but thats what I was pointing towards Sumo
  12. The only reason im not a member is that I live out west and cannot participate in cruises/events. Sumo
  13. Count me in fellas Sumo
  14. I would never pay 6 grand for a personal computer Sumo
  15. Ok, I would use a relay and put it near the lights, then run a power source from your interior light to the relay, in this line is where I would probably put a switch, saves you trying to run another line back into the cabin to switch the -ve side. Just earth the relay to somewhere good in the engine bay, and take the source from somewhere like the starter motor Cheers Sumo
  16. Its not hard to get apprentices to mix concrete Sumo
  17. Yeah, u require around 1.5 litres of oil, I recommend using Shell Helix Fully Synthetic Diff oil. As PeakRPM said, the exhaust is a bastard, but you can work around it. Just make sure you clean the areas before you pull the bungs out - u dont want any impurities getting in their. Its well worth putting a good quality oil in their, because mine got quieter and now leaves two black lines insted of one Sumo
  18. Pasey: It was imported
  19. I paid $22.5k for my S2 R33 96 model onroad 55k kms. You get 'em tiger Sumo
  20. rocks are a fairly big problem, I wouldn't leave mine uncoverd but thats just me. Even things like birds could be a problem. Sumo
  21. I bought a EBC just like that, but not hybrid, Turbotechnics. And it spikes.... god knows why - But if I turn up the sensitivity so it doesn't spike the soliniod vibrates and rattles its tits off when the car isn't going but the key is on? Sumo
  22. I seen a WRX motor sitting on a stand in our local scooby shop, I was told the owner had overboosted it and blown it up in the quest for more power Sumo
  23. I found jap ATM dockets in my door, and a pair of fold up scissors Sumo

  25. Sounds alright to me, it would only help for periods where you are stopped in traffic tho? If you had a water spray setup with it it would be pretty good. Sumo
