Jimbo: easy done, you make up a new shelf... easy as pie.... pull out the old one trace it onto a new piece of 5mm MDF, carpet it, mount spacers on it, mount speakers in spacers and bang! you have yourself a groovey setup!

I have mates with HSV's that cant chop my 33... They just resort to calling it a piece of jap crap or some shit like that. Even my uncle calls it a piece of jap crap and he drives a nissan patrol.... Makes you wonder how smart these kind of people are??.

Locutus: I used the shell because reline is hard to come by here (country NSW) But its up you, I have no quarms with shell....
Anyone else who has done thier diff notice that black shit stuck to the bungs??? I was told that that is the hard surface that has chipped off the gearfaces inside.

Just a rough guide, I paid $22.5k on road for my 1996 R33 Series 2 55000kms. With a pod and 3" exhaust - but I had to wait for importation.. So $25.5k wouldn't seem unreasonable

I would use a redline product in the gearbox and transfer case...
For the diff's I would use some of Shell's Fully Syntheic LSD oil. Mobil also make a fully synth diff oil SAF-X? is the name off the top of my head.
Engine comes down to personal preference.... Something fully synthetic for sure, I hear Mobil make a good oil.... But I use Caltex Havoline Fully Synth. 5w-40
