i dont know many of you but i'll still be keen to meet up.

tell me an honest price, im just goin buy what i paid for it and for the brand new shaft n turbine.
-
I have in pieces an older style t04E with a BRAND NEW shaft and exhaust wheel. This turbo has no bushes or seal and will require a service kit only including seals and bushes. The shaft and exhaust wheel have never been used, Compressor wheel is in top condition. The turbines measure 73mm for the exhaust and 70mm for the compressor wheel. The exhaust housing is massive with a T4 flange and the compressor housing has been polished. I am selling this as i have no need for it. i can not afford the manifold and everything that requires this to be put on my rb25det. I got a quote for a service kit from MIQ in adelaide for this turbo which was $150 odd dollars. will only need assembly and a balance. they said it was capable of 450-500hp. im asking $450 o.n.o, im in adelaide btw and will ship anywhere. if you want a picture of all the bits i may be able to arrange one...

get what YOU wanna get dude, ive got a boost only guage in bar up to 2bar

Coolant pipe into Throttle Body and Manifold
RYanR31 replied to PHaT MR30's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i did this to my 3lt when i had it...i never really noticed much difference but i can imagine its there for a reason, whether it be to heat the cold air in the mornings quicker so it runs better OR whether its to stop excessive heat soak into the large, thick aluminium inlet manifold and plenum which could actually get hotter than the coolant given half the chance. I spose after market custom plenums dont run any coolant through them. -
good ol r31s whats the quickest a GTR ever went around bathurst and who currently holds the record? anyone?
-
yes you will need to remove the auto spigot bush out of the back of the crank and replace it with the manual spigot bush which you can purchase from repco for 5 bucks or so, soak it in oil over night before you put it in...for more info PM me

so no one has any idea about this turbo?

What power do i need a better oil pump for rb26???
RYanR31 replied to RB26VL's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
anyone know the limits of the rb25 pump? can i change the relief valve spring to raise the pressure a little more for higher revs? -
simple bleed valve does the trick, tuned with safc with that specific boost setting, simple yet effective. cost effective to boot

ok basically im in the same boat as most people, got an rb25det, stock turbo etc etc...but as it so happens, ive gotten used to the power. I have in my posession a T04e, the specs of the compressor wheel is 70.00mm and the exhaust turbine is 73.00mm, compressor housing says A/R .60 . with a t4 exh flange. The exhaust side is massive with no wastegate which concerns me with lag...being a 2.5lt what sorta comfortable power could i use this for and what rev range roughly, being such a large exh housing would lag be rediculous..im well aware of the other factors i will need to consider etc, manifolds, ext gate, management, injectors etc etc.. im just asking this because i wanna know weather its worth using this turbo or not waste my time and lash out for a gt series turbo. any info would be good. fellas, i changed the sensor to a pressure sensor on the safc and it showed my boost. i dont know how it did it but all i did was instead of using the HOT-WIRE setting i used the boost and then changed the guages so i could see the pressure one and i could see the boost..doesnt run all that great up in the revs tho. showed 0.68bar, the same as what my turbo timer told me.
-
i suggest you get do some extensive research into this before you do any of this yourself as youve never done it before. it takes more than just bolting it on to make it run safe and efficient. Depending on whether the turbo itself already has an internal wastegate or not. if it has not got an internal then you will obviously need to go for an external which means a modified manifold will be needed. also depending on the flange size on your turbo whether the standard manifold can be used or not. The standard sized flange is a t3 flange but dont quote me. piping, exhaust, boost, injectors, management, wastegate are just some of the things you will need to look into. upgrading a turbo usually means modifying oil and coolant lines aswell.

farkn hell...keep it on the track ppl.

highflowed standard

thanks fellas well im just going for around 230-240rwkw driven daily so this pump should do me fine. tomj, did you buy the car off a guy called BOZZ on the 31 forums? the car in the pic looks very familular and he helped me with alot of shit with my conversion...you got a good buy man

i wouldnt run any more than 10psi on the stock cooler

i have just recently replaced my GTR fuel pump (gave up the ghost) with a walbro 500hp rated pump. this pump is much smaller and quieter than the gtr one but has a higher rating of 255lph...anyone had any experience or use a walbro pump and can tell me what you think. thanks

ok so does this provide a 12v current or an earth to switch something on..where is the function on the SAFC to control this if this is what it is? sorry i havent read anything like this in the instructions
-
output for what exactly
-
there was also a blue wire in the loom which it says nowhere what its for
-
ok just a few questions: when tuning a piggy back computer for example the SAFC, do they allow for ignition timing advance from the standard computer when modifying the air/fuel etc. also when i do the sensor check on my SAFC the throttle postion shows around 0.500ish volts, when my throttle is not touched should this read zero or is there an amount of voltage there all the time? or should i adjust the thottle position sensor so it reads 0v? same with the air flow metre readings...always jumpin around even with just the ignition on not started. thanks
-
haha shut up both of ya...ffs hehe
-
**** tilbrooks, if i wanted someone to blow up the **** id do it myself!hehe
-
ok i sorted the instructions out but what i wanna know is i got a SAFC 1 and its got a knock sensor wire and another blue wire in the loom, the knock one is wired up but couldnt find anything about the blue one...the safc 1 doesnt have any function on the knock readings so why does it have the knock sensor wire? also, that decelerating function. how do i set that up? if i just fiddle around with that function that shouldnt **** up anything should it...
