hey guys just got an interesting question, would it be possible to convert a RWD car to an AWD car??? k i know anythings possible but within reason or course!! For instance how about changing a Z32 300zx to AWD by using a GTR gearbox and drivetrain??? i havent a clue if it could work what do u gusy think??? any comments would be awsome thanks p

yeh dude traction is all about the suspension setup and a good set of tyres really helps aswell. want a fun project why not drop something like an SR20DET into a Mirage or little civic or something really light, wouldnt have a farking clue if it would fit or even work but that would b kinda cool lol i have heard somr really bad things about rb26 in 180's, apparently they lose heeps or handeling cause of the weight.

k a few things bout better driver training, does ne1 know how to fly a Jumbo jet???? when u start off flying u can only fly light aircrafts, u have to go through many stages of learning b 4 you can fly a jumbo. Why not apply the same princaple to the roads? say everyone has to learn in the small car or low powerd sedan and pass to get say an A grade car licence then to move up to a B class (higher powerd cars like a stock commy or falcon) they must complete a more rigorous test and more advance training. To get say a c class licence (high powered cars, turbo or lage capacity)they must take everything a step further. ie better training and the like k sure its gonna coast allot more to get ur licnece to drive say a line but if anyone is serious about their cars such as enthusiasts like us (spelling?) they will spend the time to get it!! this system will filterout heeps of unwanted ppl from high powerd cars, like daddys little boy in the r34GTR at 17 years of age. and the ppl who buy high powerd cars just cause they can and hoon them abround all the time. Also the time it takes to get the 'C' class licence will enable the new P plater to spend more time on the road and get more experience driving b 4 they get into a high powered car, and when they do get their Line they will appreciate it more as well as b far far far better drivers than otherwise. Some ppl wil hate me 4 this but i reken that insurence should get into ti aswell perhaps they will agree wiht the goverment to only insure highpowered cars if the registered driver/s have 'c' class licences. cerfews (spelling) wont work and are just plain freaking stupid! what if a new p plater has to drive his sick sister to the hospital to 3am power restrictions are a decent idea something similar to mbike laws in japan, however i believe that the idea above is better suited to educating drivers not just preventing them driving highe powerd cars till they are older. just an idea iv had 4 a while now what do you ppl think????????????

in my humble opinion I think that RICE has been blown completly out of proportion Be it rice or not ppl should do what eva they want to THEIR cars. ppl who plaster their cars with stickers are all posers neway right??? Deep dpwn inside they know that, just like u ppl know that every sticker means something cause it comes with some part of some kind. Thats why they do it so why does it bother any 1?? they do it for attention so why give them attention? do u think they would do it if noone could see their cars?? what do ppl get out of bagging it? self satisfaction?? i think a 1980 magna with a huge drift wing looks stupid but the owner obviously loves it which is why he paid $300 for it in the first place. are ppl threatened by a poser getting more respect than them, cause they have more stickers and a bigger wing??? I keep seeing a pink hyundai exel, with 18' chrome mags, 3'exhaust, massive rearwing and a bonnat scoop big enough to make any sti run and hide under the carpet. it looks kinda funny in my opinion, but seriously the owner loves it, who are you to judge them??!?! In several months i will b importing a 300zx and i am planning to spend thousands of $under the hood, I will not have a single sticker on my ride cause i think it looks stupid. MY opinion. im not saying my opinion is right just that its my opinion. let them brag about there 400kw hyundai if it makes them feel better about themselves. go for it. sorry about the rant ezpecially if it offended any body. just me

jeez! guys settle down, it was only an opinion both wrx's and lines are cult cars in the performace scene, and for good reasons they are both fast refined sports cars. Subaru are newbies in the performce scene compared to nissan, and they deffinatly got something right when they came up with the wrx. its a nice car. i think this has all been blown out of proportion, completly. If he like wrx's more then let him get 1, the less ppl in Lines the better i reken, would u guys like to c skylines like we see commonwhores???? they are both nice cars leave it at that.

gday guys one of my cars is a nissan (yeh i no its a skyline forum but i need help) 79' 280zx done 105,000 km and is in good condition over the last couple of weeks i have been working on it fixing a water leak problem, iv had the radiator repaired, relaced the water pump, and also replaced some pipes around the engine as well as an engine mount. to do all this iv had to take off the alternator, powersteering, and fan. iv now put the car all back together but when it starts it is VERY rough and the exhaust blows smoke! its not the spark plugs, can anyone help me??? sorry if this is the wrong part of the forum but im desperate!!!! thanks pete

the gap is the distance in the plug between the two bits of metal (or whateva) this is where the spark jumps. so gapping the plugs is simply widening or shortening this gap.

bastards hey few months ago i had my ride broken into they took the sub in the boot, and tried to get by rear speakers but couldnt get them out hehe they smashed my drivers side window 2 get in, opened all the compartments but only took the sub, they left my Ck glasses and wallet and money!! but appart from the new window i had to pay 4 they got nothing cause the sub hardy worked! ha bastards hope they get bashed up by the dude they try to sell the sub to HA! sorry ppl just annoys me

yeh in my opinoin the 180 looks better, but the line has a presence on the road that a screen cant justify, esp if they are modded well 4 that price u could get an awsome 180 or a shite line id b goin 180 but just me both are very nice cars, takem 4 a drive first thow

looks like a VIP ride its the latest thing in the Jap market adn possibly the next big automotive thing in Oz and the States. the whole idea is to look unbelievably rich. so u buy a sedan, like lexus or maxima or smoething quite expensive put on the biggest chrome mags, craziest body kit and loudest exhaust money can buy lower it then go cruising. generally all powered by V8's. and all about looks. tied closley 2 the show scene, i think. they deffinatly have an appeal if u could afford to build one.
