Hi.... if u guys remember me, i got tru with the L20ET its running quite fine! But i have a new problem, i need to get a L24E wiring diagram i can't find 1....and i also need to kno if the L28E wiring is the same as the L24E if not, whats different? and can i use the L20ET loom and ECU for the L24E and add in what extra wires after...i do have an L20ET wiring diagram (3 plug style) i know the L24E ECU connector is 1 long jack tho... so can someone please help me!!!!! Thanks!

Hi! its been a long time since posted here glad to see the site is still up and running! I have a question for you guys that i hope at least 1 or you can help with, I need to know if a 280zx 5 speed gearbox will bolt onto an RB20DET bolt for bolt and will it work good for everyday driving? It is going to be fitted into a Nissan Laurel C32. So if you have any bit of information on this please help me out! THANKS!

Ohhh ok...well I wanted to know because I have an L24 that was burning oil just sitting there doing nothing which I took out from a Laurel which is now running an L20ET...So I wanted to rebore the L24 because of the oil burning it has a little ridge in all the cylinders at the top, so thought about converting it to an L26 motor. I just want some advise on want to do, example, the bore and the stoke, do I have to change the crankshaft, that kind of thing.

This is a original L20E/L20ET ECU wiring diagram...I know some people have been looking for this and could not find it, I found it after a very longtime searching all over the web. I the good part is that it is in ENGLISH! So yeah, here it is, hopefully it will get popular around the internet so it can be easily found. People used to say the 280zx ECU is the same as this one...only some things on it is the same not everything. Nevertheless, this is the proper one. Enjoy!

Hi...i have a simple question i hope you can help me...how many wires does a L20et TPS have? mine has 2 wires but I found the original L20ET wiring diagram and it shows me 3 wires, the 2 wires are wired correctly to the ECU which is pin 25 & 18 the other is 20 but it doesn't go the the ECU it goes to some other jack, can't figure out what jack though, because the diagram is in Japanese. I have the original L20et diagram if anyone needs it, but can anyone translate it to English? -

Hi everyone!! I have some great news for all L20ET owners & HR30 owners with L20ET engines...I know this is a very very very very rare engine! For the last year or so I have been looking for an L20ET wiring diagram, all I could of ever find close to it was the L28ET wiring diagram which didn't help me. After searching and searching and searching everywhere on the internet including all these kinds of forums, no one could of helped me. I have found the original L20ET wiring diagram!!! It's the same 3 jack ECU, its for the L20E & L20ET...Don't mind I forgot what I searched for in google, but I found it in google images and I cleared my history already, anyways I have the diagram THANK YOU JESUS! The only problem is that is in Jap/Chinese and I need it to be translated ASAP! I will post the diagram below and can someone please take it and translate it to english. I'm sure this will be very helpful to all the L20ET owners such as myself. W-12_HR30_L20E_L20ET_ECCS_1983.pdf I also have the complete diagram for the interior of the car also, that needs translating as well. Let me know if you need it. Please translate this 1 to english. Thanks!

Thank you so much for replying mate!..and great advice i would of never thought about connecting it to an ignition..cause i was afraid i blew something lol. Yea the rb25 is and internal pump...but here's the problem i've been facing...when i connect the fuel directly meaning i just ground it and connect the other end to the battery and start the engine it runs for a minute and cuts off...when i disconnect the pump the car starts and idles and revs but as soon as the rpm comes back down from revving the car cuts off...i have the fuel regulator set at 40psi by the way....when i just connect the pump for 3 seconds to pressurize the rail and start the car its starts and idles for 7 mins without the fuel pump on but as soon as i rev it the car cuts off...but if keep pulsing the wire for the fuel pump on the battery off/on off/on the car works fine...and when i want it to idle i just have to disconnect the pump and when its about to cut off give it the 3 seconds connection. This is when i realized that the fuel pump relay and EFI relays were missing and was controlled by the ECU.

Hi...i have a problem with my L20et engine...i got the engine from a buddy but the fuel pump relay and EFI relays are missing and don't know where on the ECU the wires for those relays are located...i wanted to know if you can send me a picture or a wiring diagram for this engine please or if you can tell me what pins on the ECU is the wires. Its the original 3 jack type ECU, its also an uncut harness, all the other wires are connected in place straight from the factory from years ago...I could be wrong in asking for this because I don't really know if the ECU controls the fuel pump relay & the E.F.I relay, but i've been looking at L28et diagrams and I saw these relays and thought that since the L20et & L28et are so similar they both should have the same components...but didn't know they had 2 different ECU setups Another thing I wanted to know is if the L20et works with a high pressure fuel pump because the engine isn't in an R30 Skyline, its in a C32 Laurel which originally came with an L24 Carb engine with a low pressure fuel pump which i swapped out with a RB25DET fuel pump. So I was just wondering if anybody can help me with this tiring situation. Thanks!
