Are they fenders straight. Cant see too clearly. Did they sell ? What happened to rest of the car? Doors etc?

hiho, I filled up last week. Whilst i steer clear of the vpower racing, i noticed that vpower had jumped from 10c dearer to 12dearer. What is up wiht that? I was a little bit miffed to see the bowser saying 12c over the advertsied price for regular? normally only 10c dearer. hb.

Hi all, Had my car keyed again last night. mofos keyed the bonnet, front fender and passenger door. My mom asked me if i knew about. Ran outside to see it. Couldnt care too much, just upset that someone vandalled my car for no reason. --- Wrote the word DOG on the bonnet, so ruined 3 panels. --- I call 000 last night about some drunks who were causeing a wruckus(sp?), tipping over shit in my street last night at 2am. Wondering if it is some retribution. I havent pissed anyone off, so figure is either random vandals (who THE F*CK writes DOG on a bonnet), or the drunks i called the cops on decided to come back and piss me off further. --- my mate has said to claim on insurance. I dont think reporting to cops will make much difference since no witnesses to the crime. makes you think twice before calling cops. but im really over dumb shits and anti social behaviour at 2am. havent decided what to do next. as i said no eye wintess means f' all can be done. unless i randomly beat the shit out of every low life in neighbourhood. hb/

I;ve done it once. that was only to take to mechanic, and then to guy fitting my new bar. Anything sharp is usually a no no. but then thats common sense. not necessarily the law. further to that, we've all seen cars doing dodgey with no front bar, so you better have explanation ready for el coppo.

Hi all, Some hoods tried breaking into my car, by gouging my drivers door hand. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there are differences between series 1/2/gtr doors (drivers). Trying to decide if easier to replace door, or get a drivers lock and fixin the surrounding panel. My dad is hassling me about the handle as its protuding up. Took to local shark and was quoted $850 to repair. The door handle still works, just have to lift it an extra inch. Any thoughts? hb/

Sounds like another defect waiting to happen. Especially if puny bonnet pins are bad.

Okies. Checked both 30a fuses under bonnet. Checked every fuse in boot, all good. Checked Consult docs, nothing about abs faults. Out of ideas. Am I boned?

Hi All, I had my battery replaced on Wednesday. Took it to an auto electrician, coz originally was going to get some bigger leads put on. However, he had a battery with small terminals which fitted standard leads. Later that day, I noticed that the ABS light on the dash stays on. Asked my mechanic about it, he told me to leave it a few days to see if it corrects itself. lol. Anyway, I only have a service manual for s14/200sx, which I was hoping i could use to trouble shoot. In the book it talks about flashing codes on the ABS ecu in the boot. I started following the instructions, but I have an R33, and only thing the boot is a fuse box and what i believe is the Hicas controller. Problem for me is that there are no lights on the unit, which according to 200sx manual reveal what the problem is. The auto elec was mucking about wiht the fuse box next to the battery when putting the leads on the battery. I have checked to make sure they are all secure, and nothing apparently lose. Dont have any other lighs come up on the dash, such as hicas. wondering where to look next. Does anyone have any suggestions. I dont believe it is a fault wiht a sensor (too much coincidence), suspect something near the battery gone bad. There is a fuse up the front for ABS, which i wasnt able to pull wiht my fingers in the dark. The fuse box in the boot only has a fuse for 4wd/somehting, which i believe is for hicas box. Does the Hicas manage abs, or its there another box i need to find. hb.

Wet Standard (Sb/Sb) - High self-discharge rate (depending on the temperature, up to 50%-60% per month) Wet "Maintenance Free" (Ca/Ca) - Up to 400% less self discharge Sealed Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) VRLA - Lower self-discharge rate (typically 1%-2% per month) i'm looking up details for a new battery myself. same battery that has been in my car since i got it 2.5 yrs ago. doesnt use the breather tube, has filler caps, to is illegal inside trunk. thing plays up every 6months or so. leaving the headlights on for 15-20 saps enough to stop it cranking. dont rely on racv, 60-90mins can turn into 2hrs++ as i found out. racv dude puts negative clamp on the engine. shorter distance. dunno if it makes much difference. only other reason ive read, it to stop arcing near the battery in normal cars, as they battery can leak gas. not looking forward to replacing cable clamps or battery cage =(
