yeah that is raw deal. i would still complain. however, did nissan know there was still a noise after they fixed it? only thing i see standing in your way. certainly shouldnt have had to deal with this in the first place. $30 aint much to lose so pursue it. alternatively, take it to someone who knows gearboxes to find out what is wrong, and then see if nissan/au will accept fault/compensate. long shot, since you be out of pocket, i doubt they (nissan) will give you a new gearbox personally.

hiho, anyone had any luck getting gt4 pal working with hdloader. i ve got 2 older ps2 here. 1st one's laser is dead, the 2nd one wont read dual layer games, eg gt4. cannot find the original toolboy tutorial following sketchy forums. basically followed the steps, but crashes at copyright notice. tried several methods. anyone can help? hb

i got badged last year. rang up a wrecker, who wanted to sell me the whole locking mechanism for $110. Told him my ego could live without a badge. Lock still works, but rattles. Why arent parts standard across brands? Also the fender GT badges are different sizes between R32 and R33.

My friend told me up in Darwin, you pay a higher rego for V8s etc. Prefer a user pays via fuel. If you need to drive and use the roads, then pay for them. So long as the money is put back where people are using them. As for speed cameras, just dont speed. As for road works? they totally stuffed the lights around the corner from me. black spot my arse. Just wondering if there is anything that can be done for an automatic with stock computer. My car gives shitty gas mileage, much more than i'd expect. Wondering if replacing the O2 sensor would help. This might be the wrong thread to ask. Also managed to stall the damn autobox this morning. Does it ever few months, coming to a stop sign. And also been having ongoing issues, with warm starts. doesnt crank over, after a short drive/stop. eg, petrol station. Since it is automatic, rules out PFC. Think you can only use piggyback fuel controllers, etc. How do people tune a standard computer?

Isnt the VIN on the build plate, usually on firewall, drivers side? The engine number would be on the bottom side of the motor, but i doubt trouble there.

Curious to know how low these things sit? Is the car still legal clearance, and does it scrap over speed humps etc.

Other question that comes to mind, if the car is boosting constantly, is it worth upgrading the stock intercooler? I imagine it would heat up consistantly, or have i missed the point?

I',m interested in this. But silly question is, running high boost all the time, is going to produce poor fuel economy? or should i just set the mode to wet or whatever for driving sedate?

The spin will happen when you boot it coming out of the final turn on to the straight, talk to adz and me. I was lucky and car went left into gravel 180.

Actually, having been to 3 track days, starting to wonder about all the skylines and wrex's i see on the street with monster exhausts, lots of mods, making heaps of noise. Now when i see them i just say to myself, why dont you take it on the track? See what you and car is capable of. Reving out first gear, racing the car up to 80km doesnt mean much. My brother took his non abs, FF capri to the track a few years ago, and had a ball. The thing ran out of puff on the straights however, but he never left the track.
