  1. some of the builds on GTR.co.uk are amazing
  2. Why not shop around? That should give you an answer...
  3. All I did for mine was seperate the centres and had them sand blasted and powder coated. You should be able to find a Nismo sticker on the internet, take that to a sticker place and get some copies made up

  8. You could go either, depending on what ECU you have. There are also thermo fan controllers from Billion, Power Enterprise, davies craig, Pivot etc. A mate made a circuit for me that I havent gotten around to fitting yet, it just used a pikaxe chip that can be reprogammed.
  9. Z32 = 300ZX Z33 = 350Z
  10. I did an evening welding course at TAFE, realistically its probably the best way to go. I think it was about $270 for a term, well worth it I think...
  11. The motor on display was a spare JGTC motor if I remember correctly. I remember someone asking about those cam covers on this site ages ago.
  12. Was wondering that too, If it was Vinyl or some kind of synthetic I wouldnt bother, but It sounds like its real leather from an animal, found this on ebay: Q: Are these real leather or pleather/vinyl? 08-Jan-09 A: Hi, Reborn leather is a by product made from genuine leather. Basically unused leather processed further to make it automotive suitable. During the process some chemicals are added to increase the durability, scratch & UV resistance. The texture, looks & feeling are all exactly the same, you are sure to be impressed. This product is strictly not Vinyl related which is PVC based. We also offer genuine leather which is Aviation quality at around $1500 per set. I suggest with no obvious differences in the material quality go for the reborn leather option. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Max Ungun PROSEAT Auto Aircraft Marine Interior Centre info@proseat.com.au 0417 052 070
  13. I have the same wheels but LM-GT2's only difference is the amount of dish.
  14. No probs Hamish, this thread is just to gather numbers for now, and will be replaced with another if we can go ahead. You should have plenty of time to locate a sump
  15. Taken from http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...erfc-faq.htm#32
  16. You can send them the sump off your car if you want. They are done on an exchange basis so you will need to supply a sump and Bezerkly will modify it and return it. RB30 sumps are cheap and easier to source than RB25, so If you need to keep your car on the road I would suggest getting one to be modified. Dori32, They dont not sit any lower than the cross member.
  17. Check for vacuum leaks, the hissing sound could be air escaping/leaking somewhere and can cause the idle hunting your getting. Also can't hurt to clean the AFM whilst your at it.
  18. I wouldnt bother with a TO4E either.
  19. What is happening to this country... Make a phone call to a solicitor and see if you have a case. Goodluck, will be following this thread. Edit: Should your licence have been cancelled for not paying it anyway?
  20. Thats how mines done, spliced it in with the stock one so you can swap over between the two. This is an interesting aternative though...
  21. We were saying you use those resources to instruct your engine builder your specs
  22. Agreed... Between the PDF, Oil control thread, and the conversion thread theres not much else you need.
  23. I'd generally avoid most of the Chinese suspension components too. Years ago I tried my luck with some eBay adjustable arms with the steel pillow balls. When they turned up in the mail the welding was shocking, full of pin holes, and brocken mig wire in places. I couldnt believe it could have left the factory like that. The steel tube looked like it was a piece of rolled plate and varied in wall thickness along the seam from about 3mm to 1mm in places. There was no way it was going on my car - major death trap waiting to happen. Fitting a part like that would be a major step backwards. I have also toyed with a chinese split dump pipe, again from fleabay, the photos of the internals in the ad looked ok, but in reality looking from the opposite end when I received it, they were poor. Similar to the Chinese GTR intake pipe thread that was posted here not long ago. The quality of the stainless steel used was also very bad. This part didnt make it on my car either. Those are the only times I've tried China parts, they never made it on my car, and I won't be buying their stuff again.
