  1. I thought BCPR7ES are the RB26 plugs? Anyway i have them in my car right now as they're pregapped to 0.8 the only other difference is they are a few mm longer than RB25 plugs but they fit fine....
  2. Try this one http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/archive/index.php/t-85399.html and http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.p...near#post377713
  3. Not personally but I want to do the mod at some stage, they're the only place that looks to have the best product for the job. Heres another photo of the topstage guard kit: I think they look best wth the crease maintained along the body but a few people have moulded them flush. 4. There was a thread somewhere where ANDRU had problems controlling boost on the 6boost manifold too. I think he ended up going with a 45 or 50mm gate...
  5. No valve but a restricor of some kind. Basically a disc with roughly a 3mm hole pushed up inside the hose. Not sure if its needed but I noticed before I ran a catch can slightly more oil film ended inside the intake. My advice, run that hose to a catch can, then back to the intake.
  6. up the top where it says options, click that and select download topic
  7. Yup all the same
  8. What other mods do you have? Aftermarket ECU? Also What sort of manifold? And what RPM do you start to see boost?
  9. Yup, no-ones saying there cheap. They're a dedicated performance turbo with a range of housings available. They are marketed against Garrett. The majority of Holsets are oem for diesel applications.
  10. Different approach, but have you thought about the Topstage guards? http://www.topstage.com/
  11. Meh, may aswell run 5 stud eventually. He'd want to upgrade brakes with a 30DET
  12. Sounds like a better plan. 5 years to build a 25/30 should be nice. With that long to save you may as well go a 26/30 though...
  13. Heres one (not mine) Another Mazda 323 With 13BT
  14. Was thinking the same... Refer to Cubes for a sleeper
  15. Comparrisons to the Garretts Here. Interesting Reads... S256 Vs GT3076R: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2220363 Bullseye Power S368 (67mm) vs Garrett GT4294R (70mm): http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2221095
  16. Hi, what was the question?
  17. Larger turbo on HKS cast manifold, and I wouldnt mind toying with the twin scroll ex housings too. Should all compliment the 3L nicely
  18. I think the main reason for this is to use the ITB which will give you superior response. In addition better flow over the standard cross over plenum
  19. Was looking at these not long ago, specifically the S258. What stopped me was the physical size of the unit compared to a GT3076R. Aside from that these turbos sounds quite exciting. Would be a good alternative if purchasing direct from the states with a favourable exchange rate. The only Aus distributer I could find was http://www.turbotech.com.au/sc4/borg-warner/ be prepared to pay more than a Garret though
  20. Yes they are known to have more lag...
  21. I think another user is johnbarry88 who has completed the conversion. I'd also suggest the conversion wouldnt cost as much as you think provided you have a forward facing plenum already. The only other difficult thing would be deciding which direction you head turbo manifold wise. From there most of the other factory GTR twin turbo parts will swap over.
  22. S1 Block - No Oil/Water Feed for turbo (Can still use but must be drilled and tapped) S2 Block - Oil / Water feed provisions supplied Turbo Block - Same as S2 with low comp pistons, higher capacity oil pump etc.
  23. I have done so on a few occasions over the years. Their reputation is second to none on the UK forum
