I just installed my new FMIC yesterday and had to trim the blades of the stock crank fan a little. Ideally i'd like to mount a 16" thermo fan in the stock radiator shroud a couple of cm's from the surface of the radiator. Im thinking by mounting it away from the surface, the shroud will be able to do its job in directing air flow a little more evenly over the radiator the same way the stock set up is. Any one done this before or have any pics?

Yep, a mate got one for his skyline from there, but it came with the filter, i think the brand of his filter was Kaze, however he had to redrill some of the holes for it to fit on the AFM... not a hard task

Yes, you need an adaptor. Well when i bought mine it came with it as it was to suit an RB25DET. And yes thats the AFM.

3rd year Apprentice Draftsman here, first year was shit pay at $220 a week, 2nd year wasn't much better at $305 3rd year was the biggest increase $420 4th i think is over 500, but when im qualified; contracting rates start at $50 an hour, so in the long term its worth it. my mate drives a 4 door R33, looks almost as good, goes just as good as my 2 door, but is also alot more practical. I'd go the 4 door, make it into a bit of a cruiser

I owned an FTO before my R33. I think they're a great car. With the new laws in place for P-Plate drivers in NSW these sortof cars would be an ideal choice. The one I had was a Manual GPX (the MIVEC model). Basically no balls below 5000rpm, but once you had it up in the rev range they have a fair bit of poke. the best thing about them in my opinion is the exhaust note, very deep and throaty, I still love that V6 note.

For the R33 hold down the off button for 5 seconds (or until diagnostic mode is launched) within the first 10 seconds of starting the car then press the heat button (red triangle) once to enter the sensor check diagnostic. wait a few seconds and a code will be displayed on the unit 20 = everything is normal press the heat button again and it will go into door position mode (the motor that switches which vent/s air is blown) if 30 is displayed then everything is normal. you'll have to do a search to find out what the other codes mean as i can't remember. oh and press the auto button to exit diagnostic mode

Where would be the best place to buy suspension bushes for an r33? I'd probably go urethane as i'm pretty sure the bushes on the front and rear are on their way out so i may as well upgrade the lot

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to fit a series 2 cd surround/air vent trim and gear stick surround in a series one R33? if so are there any modifications needed?

Is it possible to install a series 2 dash fascia in a series one r33? I'm referring to the piece that surrounds the cd player and climate control and runs across to the drivers side air vent...
