  1. Ive seen that done on a turbo Honda CRX, see if you can find the High Octane dvd where they build one up...
  2. Adaptronic do something like that which displays values similar to a power FC hand controller but can interface directly to an LCD screen... Personally I'd wait for them to release their 1280 plug in ECU though
  3. Just put the stock one back on, you dont want an atmo bov when running an AFM.... your venting metered air that the ECU has already adjusted the mixture for, it will run rich and only cause you problems. And its Flutter not "flodder" or "flooder"
  4. Dunno.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/steve-parker...r_b_191799.html
  5. Its not just Pontiac.. Saturn, Hummer and SAAB are also being dropped.
  6. Covered over and over again, it will probably get locked but anyway... it reads in mm of Mercury... and no when your running stock boost it wont go all the way to +7
  7. Auto or manual it doesnt matter. The PDF file is your friend it covers all that
  8. Just Jap sell the ASR sumps. I emailed Lewis Engines about their sump, they didnt show any photos, but they claim their sump sump is a proven design which has been fitted to hundreds of track, and drag cars. They also offer another sump for $699 designed for even heavier cornering, acceleration and braking.
  9. Dunno how you feel about Rotors but a Mazda 626 or Mazda 929 with a 13B or 20B might be worth considering
  10. Lewis engines one appears to be a similar design to the Spool sump http://www.spoolimports.com/content/RB30an...VolumeSumps.asp too bad neither show anything inside though..
  11. Also email RIPS rips[at]inspire.net.nz (replace with [at] with @) they should be able to do them at a pretty good price by the time you convery the stronger aussie $
  12. Yes the heat can also lead to annoying electrical faults with the old wiring. A mate imported one a few years ago, very quick from the factory even by today's standards. Great handling, interior is very high quality I guess they were a $100k+ back then though... Its a shame they still dont make cars like that these days.
  13. Either the plasmaman or a RIPS one. Saw one of the copy plenums for the first time the other day, not impressed, just like every other car part from china...
  14. Pretty sure Samco do them, you'll probably pay alot more than genuine Nissan though... Edit: Price seems reasonable http://www.adventperformancellc.com/catalo...r34-p-1476.html
  15. Mine fits fine on R33 GTST
  16. Interested to know, is that with Cams?
  17. Might not be a 100% certain method of telling but notice the side grilles of the one in your photo, they are a black factory looking material. Alot of copies dont come with that like the copy bar Mr Oizo posted.
  18. Arent the trust sump extensions for RB26?
  19. Received a reply: I wonder if they're worth it for the $420?
  20. Browsing through the Spool Website I found a few High volume sumps for RB25 and RB30, does anyone have more info on them, how big they actually are and if there's any internal baffling? the site doesnt give too much away and only has two photos at the moment. Ive emailed them but still awaiting a reply. http://www.spoolimports.com/content/RB30an...VolumeSumps.asp
  21. Saw your car there on the weekend Al, looks delicious in person a credit to you and also EAS
  22. My first bike was a Cagiva Mito, a sports bike. Bucket loads of fun through winding roads but not so ideal for commuting because of the agressive riding position (knees up next to your chest and hugging the fuel tank) Decide what you want to use your bike for and buy accordingly
  23. Lol yeah I heard that too... would hardly be stimluating the local car industry
