Car is still drivable as i pulled all the smic and intake off and just running it n/a atm but under hard throttle it will smoke cause of the turbo Think im over the whole car scene all together .Body is in good condition panel wise. Paint has clear coat peeling in some spots. Front right shock is gone and will need replacing Have took the original spoiler off and pluged the holes with rubber gromits Spoiler went in the bin Alternator or fanbelt Squeels on startup for 5secs-20secs depends on how it feels Have all the parts except the standard airbox. Hey guys i have blown my turbo couple of months ago and car is sitting there collecting dust have searched the forum for answers but did not come up with any. Has anyone had any good feedback with any ebay turbos made from Au seen alot on ebay and would rather get some feedback on some brands before i make a purchase I do not wanna buy another standard one to see the ceramic wheel fail again and do not wanna get one high flowed to have to get a tune. Just want a decent standard bolton to run lowboost price range $400-500 There has to be some people with good results with a ebay turbo on a standard tune Cheers Tommy

Have my luck turn the boost to 10-11psi give it a squirt up the street, then blow the exhaust wheel into the cat and turn the front wheel to dust now the poor skyline is sitting there crying at me for a highmount but bills and living expenses are more important f**k my life yo lol

Will do in the morning Im pretty sure its the alternator bearings my thoughts the alternator is not charging the battery back to full enough just keeping it low

So today i installed a ebay special boost controller I had the solenoid bypassed before to hit full boost through the rev range I have connected it all propely wastegate to the ic pipe and blocked off the other hose. All the way turned down will get to +7 at only 1/4 throttle and i can definatly feel there is too much boost I was just trying to achieve the same boost i had with the solenoid then put it at 11psi when the gauge is installed should i be throwing the boost controller in the bin? looking at the wastegate spring?

I have bought a r33 gtst and it came with a problem starting it like a sticky solenoid and what i thought was belt squeal on startup So i got the battery checked and charged fully Changed the starter motor Problem solved.(Or so i thought it was) Bout a month later the problem came back the sticky solenoid issue. it was happening rarely once a week, but now its consistent with every startup Also the alternator squeal has got worse witch on startup if it is screeching the Hicas light turns on and i lose power steering and the lights dimmer. Could the alternator be causing the starter motor issue making it feel like a sticky solenoid as maybe the battery is not charged properly It sits at 13v or so under no stress and seems to be keeping itself at that level? anybody came across a issue like this Cheers Tommy
