A very nice bloke named Adam Foster is helping me out. The cop didnt fine me, he was a nice man just doing his job I guess. Adams put on a standard airbox, legal exhaust and stock height springs that he has borrowed. The surge tank and fuel pump are removed so hopefully thats enough, I dont believe I got an EPA as that wasnt written on the defect notice.

Guys I need some help! The first time I drive my skyline at night and I've copped a defect they have written: -uncovered pod -height -exhaust -e85 fuel system -modifications without an engineer cert Firstly i don't even have an e85 system, I just have a surge tank and 044 in the boot, will this pass simply because it's not what they have written? I have a airbox to replace the pod, and I have a new quieter exhaust solution that is waiting to be welded in. Will it need engineers to pass? Or just fix airbox, exhaust and height? Anyone know what will happen with the fuel system? If anyone has stock 33 springs I can borrow it'll be amazing too. Pls help a brother out very devod

Just because it has a non turbo engine swapped into it, does not make it P-Plate legal! The car is still a turbocharged vehicle to the police/ authorities and you will cop the penalty for driving it, regardless of what engine has been put in. Not trying to burn your ad, its a nice looking car but some poor kid could loose his licence over it.

Can't help but notice you said its a R33 GTR Bud, its a GTS4. I hope you knew that when you bought it. Just saying as the bloke selling it was advertising as a GTR and it seemed a bit slack to me to buyers who did not know the cars past.

I once had a manual EF XR6 falcon, when the pressure plate collapsed it got stuck in 4th gear. Just a thought.

Dont just weld the screamer up, if you hit gate you will create all sorts of dramas as the gas will be pushed backward. This could damage the wastegate / turbo. Get someone to extend it and put two flanges on it, so that it can be recirculated into the dump pipe, and removed. Cost you maybe $100

And if youre going to be stubborn and do it anyway, just do it the normal route and put black heat shields over everything, black engine bay black everything.

Even if police dont see it, if you crash your car ALL OF your insurance is void. Every last bit of it. Have fun paying for all the damage to the cars or people involved. If someone looses an arm, a leg or dies, youre going to be paying that off for life. Just putting a 25det on a 25de block doesnt work that way... Sounds like you have done no research and are just talking crap lol. The only room for a rear mount would be at the rear muffler too, have fun hiding that. Remember these are low cars. Feeding another set of piping back for the return pipe will not be easy. It would have to be a high car. The only reason anyone would want to do this is to hide it, but thats what P platers dont get. Even if you can hide it, all it takes is one crash or one half smart police officer to realise what you have done and boom youre over. Save your money till you're older. Take it from me, I had all these wild ideas when I was younger too. In two weeks I get off my P's.

I cant really hear the whistling noise, but the ticking sounds like sticky lifters. Not sure whether the n/a rb25 neo has solid or hydraulic, but I had essentially the exact same noise with hydraulic lifters in my old EF XR6 falcon. My noise would go away after oil had circulated through the lifters (or something like that I was told by the mechanic) but it was still rather annoying. You can use oil additives to quieten it down, Nulon makes one. A slightly thicker oil also helps. That said it could be injectors for all I know, but I cannot think of anything else.

Hey guys, up for sale is my daily. Heres some copy pasta from the carsales ad! -Reluctantly up for sale is my Peugeot 306 GTi6 The GTi6 is Peugeots flagship 306. Boasting a sporty 123kw (165hp) 16valve 2.0L engine, this car is incredibly quick and nimble. -Mated to the powerhouse is a motorsport inspired close ratio 6 Speed Transmission. This box keeps the engine in its powerband at virtually all times. You will always have power when you need it. -The GTi6 has been regarded as one of the best handling hot hatches of the 90s, with an excellently balanced chassis and suspension setup the car feels like a go kart and sticks to the road. Body roll is non existant. -This example has an aftermarket exhaust system, intake and headunit stereo. -The mechanics, drivetrain and electrics of this car are in perfect condition. A new battery, coil packs and MAP sensor have been fitted whilst in my ownership. -I have serviced the car every 5000ks and it has just recieved a service. -In honesty, there is some cosmetic faults, being that the car is nearing 15 years of age. They are R32 GTR wheels guys! They suit this colour well. I too wish they were 17" but they still look great for a 16" wheel. They will probably be the last thing I upgrade. Ill be going 17x9 +22 Enkei RPF1 with Federal 595 255/40
