Can anyone translate or tell me the meaning of this sticker? It's on the windshield of my car and has been intriguing me since I bought it! Thanks

Dump Pressure Through Air Vent
Bennis replied to black label r33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hahahahaahhaahahahhahaahahahahahaa. A blow off valve making air come through your INTERIOR air vents? Holy f**k hahaha... As we can all clearly see his atmo BOV is directed into the engine bay. Lock thread! -
I am in love with it at the moment. Cant wait to get the engine bay and wheels done though. Then I will do a proper photoshoot on it. Cant wait!

IMG_0566 by Ben Isaac Photography, on Flickr IMG_0564 by Ben Isaac Photography, on Flickr IMG_0573 by Ben Isaac Photography, on Flickr IMG_0569 by Ben Isaac Photography, on Flickr Ive just purchased a new venom 5" body 100cpsi cat, varex muffler, prosport gauges and also bought a new waterpump as mine decided to start leaking! Hoping to get these all installed, as well as the airbox I have asap! Then next on the list is 17x9" +22 Enkei RPF1 wrapped in 255/40 Federal 595.

My car is back from the panelbeaters. Will post some pictures of it tomorrow. It got stock rear bar, type M pods, s2 spoiler and roof spoiler installed / sprayed. Also front bar sprayed. Also bought the next lot of crap for it too... venom cat, varex and prosport gauges / din triple gauge mount. The lowest point of my car is 95mm off the ground, which is the dump. Looks like the 5" body cat is going to hang even lower. Kinda wish I had coilovers right now Might have to add that to the list of things. As soon as the varex and cat are welded up and the gauges in I should have enough spare for my new wheel setup. Enkei RPF1 17x9 +22 w/ Federal 595 255/40r17

- Wire tuck engine bay - All plastic fluid reservoirs replaced with metal - Braided everything - Remake intercooler / intake pipes - Less rubber bits

The turbo ones people talk about are an older generation. They look like poo. I cant comment on their performance but.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2D4XcjUSSE Can look half decent with some effort put into them. Kinda reminds me of series 1 s14. Also sound half decent too!

he wants $300 to wire the three gauges + the varex (ditching control box and using a mon on off on switch).
-
Also anyone got any recommendations for the pipe work I need done? (local business around newcastle) - Weld in the cat - Make a new diff back exhaust pipe to go to the varex / basic fitting of the muffler - Cut the plumback and add flanges + a new little screamer pipe - Hotside cooler pipe (to hole in body) - Turbo > airbox pipe Also the wiring of the varex & three gauges (water temp/ oil temp/ oil press). One person ive asked can do it all for about $1000. Does that seem reasonable?
-
Just over a month till my blacks. Cannot wait to start driving the thing. Hopefully ill have it all complete by then! The car is meant to be finished getting paint repairs next week. As soon as its out, its getting booked in for: - Cat welded in - Flanged Screamer Pipe - Varex Muffler - New intake pipe to airbox & new hotside cooler pipe - Few gauges wired up And if I have enough left over 17x9 +22 Enkei RPF1 wrapped in Federal 595 255/40r17

Urgent Help: Biggest Muffler Dimensions For Under An R33
Bennis replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
So it wont rob any power by going to the smaller muffler from the bigger pipe? Just to be sure -
Urgent Help: Biggest Muffler Dimensions For Under An R33
Bennis replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Riddle me this performance gurus: Should I go the rear varex route, I would prefer a twin tip varex, however the biggest single inlet is 3". Would it be wiser for me to get a twin 3" inlet varex, and have my 3.5" system split into twin 3" then into the muffler? My car makes 330rwkw and I am afraid that going from 3.5" > 3" rear muffler may restrict it. Theoretically twin 3" should flow as good or better than 3.5" yeah? Heres an example of the twin 3" inlet muffler. -

The apexi ecv isnt a cutout. It is inside the pipe and just blocks exhaust flow. Your idea with the parallel muffler sounds great and all but if a cop looks under there they would think its sus... Also, there wouldnt be much room I imagine to fit a big oem muffler if I cannot fit a varex? -
Urgent Help: Biggest Muffler Dimensions For Under An R33
Bennis replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The thing is im selfish and want to keep the car loud. I want it quiet for 1. Police presence 2. Neighbours 3. Long highway drives. Other than that, I love the noise! Another option I have considered is the Apexi ECV, however it isnt as effective as a varex. -
[Wtb] Nsw - R31 Skyline (Any Model)
Bennis replied to Bryce33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
My first car was an r31. Great cars! Get onto the r31 forums website. You should be able to find one there. Barely any get advertised elsewhere. The owner of that car also frequents that forum. -
Urgent Help: Biggest Muffler Dimensions For Under An R33
Bennis replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Im going to be getting a 5" body cat soon for it too. It currently has no cat at all. A venom 5" body (3.5" in/out). So i was already planning on taking it easy with that. -
Urgent Help: Biggest Muffler Dimensions For Under An R33
Bennis replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It doesnt scrape at the moment. I go over speed bumps on angles though I am not game to try it going forward incase it does scrape. I wanted it centre for the stealth of it + I like the authentic kakimoto cannon on it. I used to hate cannons but it grew on me. But from you guys responses I will probably end up going a rear setup like normal. -
R34 25Gt, Good First Car? Or Not?
Bennis replied to Brawwwppp's topic in General Automotive Discussion
If you want something very fast, go kart like handling and p plate legal. Buy my Peugeot 306 Gti-6 off me in a few weeks when I get my blacks;) 123kw 2.0L , 6 speed, light little car you do the math hahah Ive had the peugeot, an xr6, r31 skyline. Peugeots the fastest of them all and handles the best. If you dont mind a hot hatch ide recommend them anyday! Ide steer clear of N/A skylines. They really arent worth it. Slow slow slow and heavy! Not that great on fuel either and your insurance will be pretty expensive.
