Well aren't you a condescending fellow. If you "know what you have" then why do you advertise it as a BCNR33 GTR when it is infact a GTS4 lol? We must have a massive "lack of skyline knowledge in the real world" as for some reason alot of us cannot understand why you have falsely advertised it. Must be something only the older blokes know. All us young p platers with "no idea" must sound pretty silly I guess to a man of your honesty, fairness and experience. On behalf of us all, sorry for "wasting your time".

Have done this before and have two methods to share. 1. If you dont intend on getting the car out often, just get some clay dirt or something to that effect and build you're own ramp. Good thing about this way is you can customize the angle and length / height of your ramp. Worked for me and a friend getting a lowered car into a storage container that probably would have been about 15cm or so off the ground. As soon as your done shovel the dirt and clay back up and away you go. Doesnt take too if you dont mind getting into the shovel work. Otherwise go to supercheap auto and buy a pair of loading ramps. Theyr about 16cm high BUT they wont suit a lowered car. To get around this get a few planks of wood for each side to help ease the transition onto the ramps.

OP, leave car completely standard in regards to engine, intake, exhaust. It is ALL a waste of money on an n/a. Drive it and service it. The leaks are fixable, the ticking may or may not be but who cares. Just drive it till it breaks if it ever does.

Hey guys, Just putting this out there if anyone is interested. I have a Garrett Gt3582r 0.82a/r turbo on my car. Am wanting to downsize to a Gt3076r 0.82a/r (anti surge comp cover). Instead of me selling mine off and buying new, Ide be keen for a straight swap for a turbo of the SAME condition. Turbo is on the car at the moment. Blows no smoke, no shaft play on the compressor side (havnt been able to check the turbine side but am very confident itll be fine). Overall just your average great condition turbo. It rarely gets driven, maybe once or twice a month. So yeah, im keen for a swap if anyone out there wants to upsize. Genuine honest partys only please. Car is located on the Mid north coast, NSW. Can get the serial number on the chra for anyone interested. Im pretty certain this was supplied as a horsepowerinabox package, as it comes with a Garrett turbo beany which usually comes in their kits. Ill include the beany if the swapping party wants it as I don't really want it / need it. Just send me a PM here if you're interested. Cheers Ben

Use the search button. This is the second incredibly pointless and numerously answered thread you have started. Use the search button or go through a few pages. The N/A section is basically 5 questions asked 200 times. Exhaust = wank factor. End of story. N/a twincam skylines sound like crap anyway. They rasp, they drone, they have a terrible throaty noise in the low revs and have will not impress anyone. They will sound better with a stock exhaust, trust me. If you're so adamant about noise, then put an aftermarket pod filter enclosed in an airbox. The intake noise is more than enough noise and the car will sound better then if it has an exhaust on it.

Yeah Ill ask jez. Only reason I want to swap the turbo first is because im not loaded and would rather use the money from selling my old turbo to fund the new one instead of selling it afterwards.

Well besides Koenenenccigigig CCXs, theres countless videos of lambo / ferrari / corvette morons who manage to spin them out in even the most normal situations with the slightest pump of the pedal. They should be told these cars are really tail happy when they buy them

Blew my first ever intercooler hose off today, scared the bajeezus out of me. Thought I had dun broked the engine haha. Was overtaking an L plater in a 100 zone and all of a sudden 'PAA CHHHSHHTTT.... splutter splutter cough cough stall'. It would barely run with the pipe blown off, ide dare say due to having an AFM before the turbo? As it kept stalling, I had to start it about 15 times and limp it into a little sidestreet as I couldnt really stop where I was. Would this little incident have done any damage? After connecting it back up and starting it again it was fine, but blew some smoke when I turned it on for the first time. It was fuel coloured smoke I think, definitely not blue. Doesnt do it anymore though but I can still hear a tiny leak somewhere that I will have to find. In other news, when I swap my turbo to a gt3076r from the gt3582r on it now, will it be safe to drive like a granny to DVS JEZ to get it tuned? (thats where I plan to go as its closest to Newy and he gets lots of good reviews). It will be driven from Port Macquarie though not Newcastle.

What an idiot!!! Why is it always supercars and exotic muscle cars that have moron owners attempting to do burnouts / drifting in public places... They ALWAYS seem to spin out and crash. Just like this example. What a complete and utter tool, I hope he pays for all medical and or worst expenses to those he hit.
