I have owned it for the last year and it has been an excellent car and I am sad to see it go. I am getting into 4x4's and can't afford to have both. The car drives very well, and is a pleasure to drive, especially on long trips. Motor and transmission seem to run fine, and it has recently had the head gasket replaced. Also has had a new battery and terminals fitted. Nearly all of the suspension and brakes were replaced by the guy I brought it from, about a year a go. So it has near new Shocks, pads, machined rotors, and most bushes and tie-rod ends, were replaced.. A Must see. you will not be disappointed. Very clean and comfortable. Good points -VERY clean interior -Very comfortable. -Dark Tinted Windows -Cruise Control, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, Auto Climate Control -All electric items function perfectly -Cooler box in rear parcel shelf -Dual zone Climate control, with separate REAR controls Bad Points It has a couple of things that it needs, but i can show you these when you come for a look, and I'm open to negotiate on the price because of these things. Any other questions or to come and inspect the car please give me a call. I can arrange for inspections in either Mount Waverley or Carnegie. Now asking $2700 but i am open to reasonable offers. 6. Heh good work to the datto boys again... they love the motorkhanas.... Looks like it was a day of 'if only' for me If i hadn't have made a two simple mistakes, one run on the Miniwang and one run on the Longwang. i woulda moved up from 12th to 5th in RWD oh well... next time... still a whole lot of fun regardless..
  7. sure am!!
  8. Heh yeah i know.. its all good... like i said.. next time!
  9. Hey cool vids.... Can't really be highlights when they don't have my smoke show dammit! haha oh well, i will have to do more next time and make sure they are on film Good work any way PS.... make with the pics!!!! yes this means you Jarrod!
  10. I am aware of that, like i said... i know there was many issues involved in how delayed the day was... but i still think the day could have started a little earlier... Although that would mean frysie doesn't get his nice little sleep-in
  11. It was a top day yesterday... I had a heap of fun for my first DECA as a driver... POI's -The corona is a BIG handfull on the skidpan... i was so out of breath after the first run i couldn't talk -I need a handbrake that works when i want it to... not just when it feels like it. -Second gear doughnuts can be hazardous to your health... the car fills with smoke :D -the back tracks are really fun! Any way thanks to all the organisers.. i know you had a tough day with not having many volunteers One small piece of possible advice that could be maybe looked at is to start the day a little earlier maybe. I reckon if everyone got to DECA when me and the Datto boys did... it might have gave us a few extra runs at the end of the day. i know there was other problems through the day that slowed it down but i reckon it wouldn't be a bad thing. Just my 2c Other than that... top stuff... looking forward to the pics and vids... I hope someone got a glimpse of my smoke show, but from what epople have said, no one had cameras out MaT
  12. Heh I actually tried to avoid maps with any tight turns... (1 & 5 for me) I need the ones that have nice big long runs across the skid pan with no real need for any tight turns Might actually give me a chance to get on boost that way Should be good though either way... i promise there will be lots of limiter action... I s'pose you would be pretty used to seeing a Silver 2L turbo car hitting limiter @ DECA though hahaha...
  13. Toyota Corona 13.16 @ 108mph The slip is at home so no idea about any other info..
  14. "21. Jarrod Moore Sileightly" ????? Aren't you meant to be doing something else that weekend... like taking photos of us Heh heh.... but seriously, how did you convince the owner of the Slightly to let you drive??
  15. Faxed and Paid Should be good times
  16. The corona will be there... and will be druming up the usual datsun crowd to get them to come along... This should be good, can't wait...
  17. Top weekend.... Have to say a big thanks to Bec for Team Managing, she was on top of it all weekend.. made it run a hell of alot smoother... The results let us down a bit at the end, but we can put it down to a lack of experiance with the way the scoring system runs... Other wise i think we did quite well as a team with no penalties like Dave said and our team also one of the highest actual completed laps in the 6hour time frame. Which comes down to us as a team putting down some consistantly fast times and also making some very quick driver changes. Although it was not really about the times... Our best times are as below.. A few PB's in there also... which was good considering the amount of traffic and changable weather... Ryan - 1:58.12 Troy - 2:00.72 (First time @ PI) Leigh - 2:00.81 (PB) Me - 2:04.93 (PB) Dave - 2:06.07(First time @ PI) Mark - 2:10.26 (PB) Also like to thank HD, Jordan, Rob & Todd for comming down and manning the Pit Board, and also lending a hand in the pits.... Definatly good times were had by all and will be looking and being back there next year i think... Thanks MaT
  18. Also uploaded an IN CAR vid from frysie... This in on board the Sil80 for the Triple Loop Test See if you can not get Dizzy!!
  19. Results are here.... Good work to scotty, fair way up the table... Interesting the mighty sexpo GTR being beaten in its class by a standard EF Falcon ^^^ Maybe the Bundle of joy has slowed him.... ^^^ And I beat Frysie!! Whoohoo... thanks to his lack of direction, but a win is a win Anyhoo Enjoy 2008_VMC7_Results_MUCC_July_20.pdf
  20. Morning all A few of the SAU boys & girl cruised out to somerton for the VMC motorkhana yesterday. After getting there and seeing how tight and confusing the maps looked, i nearly gave up and went home but it turned out to be a really fun event. For my first ever motorkhana, i had a ball... They were a very freindly bunch which made it good as well... there was a bit of confusion with how the day was run, perhaps a schedule would be handy. Good work otherwise by the organisers Thanks to Bec for comming out and filming Links to the Youtube vids below. CLOVERLEAF TRIPLE LOOP F&R SLALOM BUTTERFLY WALTZ CLOVER GABLE SLALOM Thanks MaT P.S. There are actually little flags on sticks that we are driving around... they are hard to see on my high quaility copy of these vids, so if yout look hard enough you may be able to see them.
  21. Knocked together a quick split screen video of mine and ryans in-car footage.... Ryan does a 1:30.05 and mine is a 1.32.somthing.... ne hoo... notice the difference in the section after the crest on the back straight... Enjoy MaT

  25. Hey all I finally got around to throwing together the footage I took from the Phillip Island round last weekend. I thought I would post it up here so that more people might see it, rather than stashing it somewhere in the PI event thread. I got a fair bit of footage even though i had a lot of camera problems and it was god damn freezing!! Forget Antarctica, the top of Lukey Heights is the coldest place on earth. I have put together a fair bit of the footage in the clip below... Enjoy! Thanks MaT PS. Spot the SAU Regular at the end of the clip
