Unless you find someone selling them second hand, you will not be able to get the senders separately from the gauges. My mate had a broken HKS oil sender and he had to order a new gauge + sender.

Mechanically it was A1. Never caused an issue at all. I was the first owner in Australia too. It was things like electrics that were pissing me off.. Power windows failing, ABS light on dash showing up (couldn't be stuffed diagnosing it in the end), headlights blowing for no reason, rattles everywhere, doors which rattled like crazy upon closing due to side intrusion bar installation at compliance, high fuel usage, extremely poor headlights etc. These things can't really be sussed out at inspection because they happen mainly due to wear and tear and age. And no, the MR-S would not beat the R33 in a race but its new, reliable, and lightweight means I can chuck it around corners with abandon. Not to mention it does 7.5L / 100km. The modification path is definitely there as there is fairly strong tuning support (Top Secret turbo kit anyone?) but frankly I'm going to leave it pretty much stock and enjoy a new car which shouldn't have too many issues in the 2-3 years I will own it. Anyway, each to their own. We are getting off topic and could argue forever.

In case you didn't know, I had a R33 before my MR-S. 195rwkw. Slow, and things broke. How many bloody times have we spotted each other in the Hills for you to not know

I fitted a FMIC on R33 S2 and I never had any issues with the airbags Though by "any issues with the airbags" I mean "the airbag ABS dash light never came on after the install of FMIC"

lolololol I like it when people take the bait. The R32/R33/R34 is an old car. Old car means problems of wear and tear etc. If you were willing to take the burden of dealing with these problems, why not get the also old GTR? It would cost nearly the same in maintenance. Let's say you have 20K to buy a Skyline. You could buy a R33 GTS-t or a R32 GTR. Performance wise, which would you go for? Let's say you have 30K to buy a Skyline. You could buy a R34 GT-T or a R33 GTR. Performance wise, which would you go for?

His M35 uses the VQ25DET, which is not used in any other car outside Japan.

This is the absolute worst nightmare that any one importing a car has to face... Importing a car that cannot be complied and not only that, you were told by those (apparently) 'in-the-know' that it would be good for compliance. $30k+ for a car that is undrivable. Holy moly.
