  1. Saw silver R33 S1 SAM-88X on Castle Hill road just then...
  2. Very nice - I always thought dyno tunes cost around $500. Anyway, it gives my Auto R33 something to aim towards! Just 1 q: Have you got any thing to preserve the life of your gearbox?
  3. http://www.nismo.com.au (eg UAS) also sell the front lip. Pricey though.
  4. 5PM on Castle Hill Road, traded flashes with white R33 series II, ATJ-***
  5. Wow $264 for eyelids is pretty darn expensive.
  6. Spotted 2 Skylines on the way to UNSW this morning. GTR-97V - White R33 GTR, pulling out of Shell on Epping Road. WAZ-*** - Marone S2 R33, on Mowbray road.
  7. Are the skirts/bumper damaged in any way? If they are not damaged, I am willing to offer $250 for both pick up. By the way, your PM inbox is full.
  8. I got a used dump/front combo pipe + Kakimoto catback (3" all round) for $300 off these forums.
  9. I have a Kakimoto (and so do many SAUers). It's not too loud but produces a satisfying note. However, if I had the money I'd definitely go for the Apexi N1 titanium catback system. Horribly expensive though.
  10. My S2 doesn't have the sticker. If you say it's S2, it's a bit suspicious because the "SKYLINE" garnish on the rear is clear - on S2 cars it is meant to be the same colour as the body. Fastest way to find clear things up is goto the Nissan FAST thread ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=44182 ) and post up the VIN number - that was people can find out the original colour code and date of manufacture of the vehicle.

  12. Posted here already... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=87256
  13. Assuming you own a GTR, I would go for the R34 Millenium Jade colour. Tough but attractive colour. Anyway that's my opinion - good luck with the choice and respray!
  14. The following are R33 bodykit styles: Kakimoto Widebody 400R BN Sports Trial Veilside BN Sports East Bear Jun Trust (GRacer) Top Secret URAS Do-Luck Just search them up on Google and you'll find some pictures - at least then you know what you're looking for.
  15. I have a HKS, but if I was looking for a new pod I'd definitely go Apexi (and don't forget about a heatshield or box).
  16. Just then from Epping Road -> Beecroft Road, drove alongside FAY-80Y, burgundy S1 R33.
  17. Unless done properly, aftermarket sunroofs are prone to leaking, rust etc. Personally, I wouldn't get one fitted if I had a non-sunroof car. The potential problems that they cause wouldn't be worth it - even the stock sunroofs can be the root of many problems.
  18. Stock Series 2 rims are 16x7 with offset +30 all round. Personally, I wouldn't goto Tempe Tyres because a ) I've heard their work is below par b ) The wheels they sell are not as good as Japanese made wheels. I'd invest in some Japanese made rims from known wheel manufacturers such as Rays, Work etc. Finally, note that if you get Tempe Tyre 18" wheels, they are incredibly heavy and you will definitely feel this extra weight when driving your car (eg it'll be slower at slow speeds). 18" wheels will also cause your ride comfort to deteriorate slightly.
  19. supra I PNed you with an offer for the skirts. $200 pickup ok?
  20. Anything over 160-170rwkw and I'd invest in an aftermarket transmission cooler.
  21. My brother got his cars (FTO, Evo 7) serviced by Taki from Perfectrun. He's really knowledgable and helpful - owns an R33 GTR too.
  22. I thought that the R33 GTR was the first one to do it under 8.
  23. See: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...l=rebuild&st=20 Located on Victoria Ave
  24. I (and other SAUers) strongly recommend MRC. Very helpful, explains everything and high quality work.
  25. No and no.
