  1. Nice ride :uh-huh: What rear bar is that?
  2. Does guard rolling push out the inside of the guard only or does the whole guard (internal and external) become flared?
  3. Spotted Sawakita in Chatswood this evening.
  4. I have this problem too. You have to do 2 things to reduce the effects of this problem. 1) Clean the throttle body 2) Raise the idle RPM Note that it doesn't get rid of it entirely. However the car becomes very much less prone for a stall after acceleration. I have also heard replacing the AFM will also help.
  5. Saw white R33 in West Pennant Hills this afternoon, going opposite direction to me.
  6. I drive an auto R33. If I had a choice I'd go manual (went auto for budget reasons) but auto is very relaxing to drive and to use the RB25DET power in traffic is just like an on/off switch. The worst thing about getting an auto R33 is that aftermarket computers (eg PowerFC) don't accomodate for auto gearboxes.
  7. Drove with a lowered maroon R32 GTS-T from Epping Road all the way to Castle Hill Road around midday.
  8. If everything goes to plan, this would be my next car. During my purchase of my R33 at a dealers, I managed to browse through the Japanese 350GT brochure and it's an awesome car. Leather interior, an engine that'll respond well to mods, a unique look (in Australia) and Rays 19 inch forged rims, all coupled with the Skyline heritage. If I had $40K I'd buy one in an instant.
  9. Black R33 S1 going past me to Copeland Road last night at 1AM
  10. If I had $30,000, I'd save up more for a GT-T R34. The R32 GTR is tempting, but they'd require more maintenance and the cabin quality will generally be aged.
  11. I (and many other SAUers) own and recommend Bilstein shocks. www.bilstein.com.au You could also go for other well-known brands like HKS, TEIN and Cusco. Note with any overseas made shocks, you should pair them with Aussie springs (like King Springs) to suit our crap quality roads.
  12. Saw at UNSW exams today at Randwick Racecourse. Black R33 AOK-***
  13. I don't mind if the screws are held very securely and have no chance of coming loose.
  14. HICAS is the 4 wheel steering system used in Skylines. If the light is on continuously, it means there is a problem with HICAS.
  15. www.modyourcar.com.au
  16. Flares are a good talking point when mates get in the car. "What the hell is that thing?" "A flare." "Hectic."
  17. Pods + skirts $300 and I'll pay/organise postage.
  18. It's meant specifically for N1 exhausts. You can see the little hole on the rim and that matches with a hole on the N1 exhaust tip so you can bolt the two together. With a little modding on your current exhaust tip (drilling a hole in your current tip for example) I don't see why it wouldn't fit. I'm happy to meet up with you at Cherrybrook Village sometime. Give me a PM and we can arrange a time. B0oStEr: Offered noted. I would like abit more before I let it go though.
  19. Silencer for Apexi N1 exhaust. The Super Silencer is the most effective way to lower sound output from an exhaust system without sacrificing high end power. The Silencer has also been shown to increase mid range torque in some vehicles. The Silencer will lower average output muffler sound by approximately 7dB - 110mm in diameter - Includes attachment nut and bolt. - Never used $60 Please post all questions here and not via PM.
  20. Spotted a grey(?) R33 on other side of road as me on Edward Bennett just then.
  21. In between the tacho and speedo there is a column of small round lights to indicate what automatic gear you're on (eg P,R,N,D,2,1)
  22. Are the pods for R33 or 180SX?
  23. GTS4s also come with blue 'GT' badges rather than the more common red ones.
  24. Be prepared to break some of the bolts holding the turbo and dump together. Your car is fairly old (93) so I'm sure some of the bolts have been rusted up. If you break a bolt, you have to drill out the remnants of the bolt and then tap new bolts in. There are six bolts in total.
