Currently I have a GReddy Type-S BOV plumbacked.
As you'd know for plumback, the pipe doing the 'plumbing back' is connected to the air intake pipe. It's connected to the intake via a solid rubber hose clamped on. One end is clamped to the BOV 'exit', and the other is connected to a metal pipe leading to the air intake.
Now I want to try to make the BOV atmo venting. I have to remove this rubber hose and leave it open on the BOV end (so air exiting the BOV gets vented out to the atmosphere/open air).
What concerns me is the other end of the rubber hose ie the metal pipe leading to the air intake.
Can I just leave it open ended or do I have to seal this end of the pipe?
If I have to seal it, what is the best way to do it?
