Would a chipped standard computer be alright for quite a few mods, like turbo, cams, intercooler etc? i'm wondering what other GTS4 owners have done. I was hoping to have something with a hand controller.. have to do some thinking i think.

Any more info or ideas on aftermarket computers for a GTS4?? Anyone??

Please help! Does anyone know if the GTS4 computer is any different to a GTS-t ? The main reason i'm asking... is i'm planning to (hopefully) use a Power FC in the car. I know i'll need the AP engineered modifed one.. that's fine. I just want to make sure it will work in the car and not affect the 4WD system? Has anyone done any ECU upgrades in GTS4's?

Here's the problem. Any imported cars that were never sold NEW in this country, don't show up in the system! That's why the R32 GTR and 350Z are in there, because limited numbers were/are sold here. It's a big flaw in the system... One of my old man's friends who works in vicroads has told me about it.. Techincally the cops can't tell you off because your R33 or whatever is not on the list, and therefore you can drive it because it doesn't say anywhere that you can't smiles all around. There is no real way they can force you to obtain a power figure, So behave and dont get pulled over is all i say. have fun.l

I wouldn't mind hearing who did your compliance as well. PM if you can't say... I've heard that generally, large high mount turbo's are passed without a problem., but this obviously isn't the case. Depending on the level of mods.. it could be a pain to put a stock turbo on for a engineers, and would no doubt be more $$ You should be able to find someone that can pass it. good luck. "shut him up and agree that the skyline really is a good car" Youre right. the skyline is a really good car. hence we would prefer as many to stay on the road not in wreckers yards, which as a first car many do end up. not trying to judge ya... but the history isn't good.

Anyone got any idea how much these tomei cams are? and where they can be sourced for a reasonable price? ie not with 200% profit margin thrown on. Thinking of a pair of 270 ins/outs. for an rb20 as well..

cheers sydneykid, have seen new bosch 044's going on ebay quite cheap so might get my hands on one.. nismo ones from nengun are about 400 for the rb20.. so i dunno nengun was my coice for the FPR, just waiting an order from early august to come.

I've got an R32 coming with a large T07 on it and from what i've learnt about it.. the fuel system needs some work. (All this is for a RB20 stroked to 2.4 in a gtst 4 dr r32) Has anyone used or can recommend the Nismo fuel pressure regulator and/or Nismo fuel pump as a good upgrade?? Also thinking about injectors... probably between 550 and 770cc/min. Can someone answer me straight out.. are there a direct fit injector for RB20's that will not require ballast resistors??? I've heard you can use all injectors that suit RB26's in RB20's but need resistors. How do these work, where do they go, how much are they? (any photos or diagrams??) help! Any coments or help would be great! Cheers guys.

Same thing happened to my old man's rear brake light on his series 1. Take the light out of the wing (you may have to remove the wing to do this). Take it apart very carefully (remove the red bit from the rest) and more than likely it will be a blown diode. Anyone will some electronic skills could do this in no time. Too easy! good luck!!

Yeah well i wrote of my old mans immaculate R33 GTSt when i was on my P's.. felt stupid as..... still paying for it..... He wasn't into insurance fraud so i wasn't covered and he wouldn't say he was driving, so i forked out 8500 in repairs.... oops..... that was 2 years ago.. havn't really drivin it since. Now my beast is on the way, hopefully wont be bendin that in a hurry...!!

try on ebay. there are R32 headlights on there for 110 each if thats what you're after. There's heaps of good stuff for skylines on there now. I've picked up a few bargins, even though my car isnt even here yet..........
