no worries guys, I got one from a 25 as my brother had one lying around so will get to changing it soon

has anyone else got any input on this, I did hear on the grapevine that most rb engines starters are compatible so some confirmation would be great, if rb30 ones are compatible I have a few here, and I do notice the difference between rb30 and the et version i am also in need of replacing my starter on my auto rb20det as well and most jap wreckers want way too much for one

so no difference in tail shafts

meant to add if that id be tempted by the 25 box as its stronger and easier sourced and if anyone here in south east qld has a 20 box they'd like to sell please let me know

hey guys, I've recently come into possession of an s13 with the rb conversion and the auto box has pooped it, first off I've no idea why its auto but it is, so I'm going to press on with keeping it auto as the misses will probably want to drive it as well. could anyone here advise me on seeking a replacement box? I've heard the rb25det any would fit, if so what would need to be changed to make it work? I have no problem putting another 20 box back in and would probably prefer that as it would just be a straight out and in job and being a mechanic the last thing I want to do is work on my own stuff so any advice from you guys in the know would be much appreciated. I did have a go at the search but there are way to many irrelevant results

as the title states i am after an auto tranny to suit rb20det, must be in good condition(obviously) and come with torque converter. have cash, need one quick, will travel as far as southside of bisbane or a bit north of gladstone qld, not gonna pay anymore than $400, so if you can help out, it would be much appreciated and i can come pick up any weekend. call text or pm me 0419979356 Calvin
