  1. Running KU36 fronts and want something stickier than my current stretched-as-f**k 235 KU31's... Just street for now.
  2. Achilles 123S - Who's used them. Can get a pair of 265/35R18 for $320 fitted. Feedback...
  3. Cheers mate, I had down-travel limiting spacers installed to enable a slight lower ride height while keeping the springs captive. Hopefully their life isn't effected.
  4. No drama. They will sit just on flush, or just slightly outside the guard, depending on camber. Mild roll and either 235/40R18 or 265/35R18 will fit fine.
  5. Sweet, that answers my question! Cheers guys!
  6. Cheers guys. GTSboy, the car is currently sitting at roughly 345mm both front and rear. I actually had a set of grooves machined to my specification to give the car an extra ~5mm of forward rake. I was thinking of going an extra 10mm lower to 335 front and rear. djr, I'll have a look today, but you're both probably right, 20mm lower will be excessive. I'm still interested in my original question though, does operating a new damper in the final few inches of its travel cause damage to the valve stack, piston or any other components?
  7. I purchased a set of brand new Bilstein B6 dampers for my R33 approximately 4,000km ago. Obviously these are not height adjustable, but are complemented by a set of King Spring 'Lows' to give the car a slightly lower CG and better looks. I would like to machine some circlip grooves for the lower spring perch to further lower the car approximately 15-20mm. I understand the relationship between height and handling, so no need for an explanation on that. My question is, does lowering a gas-charged shock absorber which is still relatively new pose any danger as far as shortening its life or causing damage to the valving/internals? Obviously the dampers compression stroke would be reduced, and this is my biggest concern as far as longevity and durability. Cheers!!
  8. Quick recommendation on new headlight globes since mine blew last night. Thinking either OSRAM or Philips Xtreme-vision, but open to suggestions...
  9. So is that to say multi-link suspension doesn't suffer from load deflection?
  10. Obviously with KFC plastic knife - not a real one lol But I agree, the less physical confrontation the better - take him to court!
  11. This is perfect opportunity to call cousins and get old mate cut. So if he waited for you to turn around, why is ur eye injured?
  12. That is a farkin sick implementation of an oil cooler!
  13. Yeh, Losi 8IGHT-T 2.0 brushless conversion. Also an old Team Associated RC10GT.
  14. Plasti-dip both the coolant and washer bottles black. They stand out too much!
  15. What are the white wheels fitted on those old pics? RG-D?
  16. Looks way better on 32's than BBS'..
  17. Looks goooood. What are the advantages (or reason) for doing a 4-2-1 manifold over a traditional 4-1?
  18. Sweet, I'll have to check it out. Love scavenging.
  19. Where's hard rubbish? I need a new lamp for my room...
  20. Dunno about the 3076r. Have you considered getting Hypergear to high-flow your existing turbo and running e85 on ID1000's? You should make a very responsive ~260+rwkw with internal gate and will fly under the radar with ease.
  21. I'm making a R33 Gts-t only owners group. It's gonna be called 'Centrelink'
