  1. Taarks also sell OEM o-rings in kits. The smaller o-ring is what seals fuel pressure from entering the plenum, the larger o-ring prevents fuel from leaking out the top. I bought a can of silicone spray and pretty much drenched both the o-rings and fuel rail before installation to avoid damaging/twisting anything. Seemed to work pretty well.
  2. I had my R33 for about 6 months while I was on my P's. It's a pain in the ass having a car you can't legally drive, unless you get a shit box and fix it up over that time. You're better off saving for the remaining time you're on your P's and getting a clean car and being able to drive it straight away.
  3. You've got all the answers huh?
  4. It's a shame that this is a legitimate answer
  5. If something was posted from Townsville, QLD last Friday the 7th, when should I get it here in Melbza? Tell me now.
  6. Fuuuuuuuu....
  7. Saw that in Frankston last week
  8. Dudes, when removing the throttle body, how important is it to replace the black gasket between it and the plenum? If it comes off undamaged is it good to go back in?
  9. Got my 555's for 300, paid $200 for sonic clean, flow test, new o-rings and pintle caps. Why buy brand newies for double the price?
  10. pod filter, footwell neons...
  11. I kinda like the subtle bling-ness of the raw alloy Highflow in... Had to slightly tweak the coolant inlet hardline, and completely remove and reshape the coolant outlet line. All fresh genuine gaskets/washers so hopefully I don't have to do this twice
  12. Turbo out by lunchtime and scotty's intake pipe arrived - in business! What's the best way to torque/tighten the water feed line? It's in a bitch of a spot between the head and the turbo, everything else looks pretty straightforward.
  13. Cool, he has PM. Yea Trent.. Okay I will keep an eye out for some splitfires then. Cheers for the quick postage, looking forward to seeing it; one of the final pieces of the puzzle!
  14. I'm gonna wing it and hope for the best. The coils aren't cracked or damaged, and as titan said, no point replacing if they aren't stuffed... Only one way to find out - more boost!
  15. Hmm maybe i'll go with this for now. I've spent like 2k in the last few weeks on car stuff; that's a whole chunk of summer work down the drain. If they break down it's only like $150 for an extra hour of tuning I guess. My car has genuine 104,000 so might be okay..
  16. Is $450 about right for a set of lightly used Splitfires?
  17. Alright, so i've compiled all the bits I need for ~270rwkw, only thing i'm unsure of is coilpacks. Would it be worth getting a set of Splitfires as a precaution before towing the car to Trent's? If so, there's a 2nd hand/nearly set on eBay for $450, is that steep or about right? Currently running stockies with no problems.
  18. Mum moved skyline out of driveway when I was out partying last night... nek minnut 2x brand new XD9's guttered and 2x panels scratched... f**king fuming.
  19. Ehhh, not a huge fan of MCM, Marty is okay, but 'Moog' makes me cringe hard..
  20. ARAB (and whoever else) this is perfect for this mod, and it has the diagram on the top of the relay to make it easy: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SY4077 Is there any need for an FPR after this mod?
  21. Cheers guys, ill do the direct +12v pump wiring and hopefully will be set. Only going for probably 280rwkw at the most, so should be plenty of flow on 98.
  22. Do I need to run 8GA wire all the way down into the tank for this, or can I use the original wires in the tank and splice on thicker wire outside the tank from battery feed to relay, relay to pump wire. You use the original wiring as the relay trigger yes?
  23. How many kw can a R33 GT-R fuel pump support in my gts-t? Ceebs going 040...
  24. Edit: yeh those are the ones! Jumped right on em. Cheers man!
