  1. Gonna be mint studying in a dark library tomorrow while everyone else is having fun in the sun #unilyf
  2. Found a set, thanks everyone for their help!
  3. For some reason I was under the impression you were gonna run a single lol, dunno where I got that idea from... Engine looks great, colour looks great
  4. That file never works on my computer! It's so annoying. I don't see why they can't just have the list on their website without the need to download that file! :I
  5. LOLLL Pretty sure this can't happen, there's no way to 'tap' an intake or vacuum line into the cabin by accident as far as I know, but it would be pretty entertaining getting a blast of hot air on gear change!
  6. How much lighter are the Kiwami vs Kai? I guess substantially? They look like they have slightly bigger brake clearance too, but that could just be an illusion.
  7. Gunmetal GT-R on Russel St today leaving uni. Plates R35R.
  8. Internal hex rounds off too easily in my experience, plus having to carry a key sucks, IMO.
  9. ^Nice where'd you get them? In other news, Derby Day = Hot bitches everywhere I look, going cross eyed.
  10. And to protect the bore of the wheel from being scratched by the socket, you can get some large shrink wrap tube from JayCar and shrink it on; gives a slightly rubberized texture which won't chip or scratch the finish.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Pbl4x1OKqs Ozzy is going off this beautiful afternoon!
  12. No, R32 GT-R strut braces generally sit lower than Gts-t strut braces due to the RB26 having a forward facing plenum. If your car is a factory Gts-t, either get the lower subframe like 32vspec said or get a Gts-t strut brace.
  13. Went conservative: 18x9 +30 18x10 +38 And got em for 1500 so a fair bit cheaper than IM to my knowledge.
  14. These are currently on a boat headed to Melbourne. Excited! Anyone ordered from streeter that can give me a rough idea of sea shipping times? Is it actually 9 weeks cause i'm gonna go crazy waiting
  15. Sounds like it's all coming together now! I'll be interested to see your paint results with the PPG mix, as my car is also currently under the gun using PPG. Hopefully it's a quality, robust paint. Any ETA of turn key?
  16. Hey mate can I ask what width those Meisters are?
  17. I wouldn't be overly worried about damaging engine/strut mounts, as RB's have very little radial rotation under load to begin with, and those silicone hoses would have plenty of 'give' in them. I am pretty OCD about things like this though, so if it were me I'd look at getting a different strut brace, or having the one you have there C-channeled or relieved by an engineer to give clearance between it and the intake pipe. EDIT: It occured to me that could be a GT-R strut brace (which sits lower than the Gts-t brace). If so, just get a brace intended for that car.
  18. N15 Pulsar SSS Hatch?
  19. I read somewhere that Mazda designed the 4WS system to default to center in the event of failure, pretty scary if that last point is true...
  20. Depends what year MX6 you're talking about. The second generation was sold as a Ford Probe (and shared parts with the 626), although it was not a huge sales success, it should be fairly easy to get parts for. Reliability wise, I'm note sure, but I know they used 4WS which adds complexity and cost in maintenance. Not really a performance car by any stretch of the word. Looks? Eye of the beholder but I think the Ford Probe looks a lot better than the Mazda. Neither are beautiful cars though. First gen turbo's were pretty cool cars, but are getting quite old now.
  21. Yep. Jewelers flat-blade screwdriver to break the seal and a squirt of WD40 or Inox usually does it.
  22. Exams start in 1 week, so an official goodbye for me until the 6th of November ;(
