  1. ^ I just got a set of genuine mats too, they weigh a ton! Those look like they're in good condition too.
  2. Was riding my pushie down Bakers Rd, Coburg (automotive industrial area) today when a red Monaro caught my eye coming towards me. First thought was that it sounded extra tough! Then as it went past it clicked - it was a bloody HRT 427! It had the distinctive hood with NACA ducts and bonnet release pins, and I could make out the half cage in there too. My jaw pretty much dropped as it went past, not somewhere you'd expect to see such a supremely rare car. I guess there's the chance it could've been a mockup, but all the badges were correct and the huge apRacing discs were in there too. What are the chances?
  3. Clutch pedal box started creaking out of nowhere yesterday. Loosened master, doused in inox at firewall junction and tightened 'er up. Voila no more creaking!
  4. Yewwww! Good result, throw some pics up and get looking for some new rims ASAP, even stockies will do!
  5. How much does xbox live cost these days? I need to buy/fix a RROD console soon and get this game, threads making me jealous.
  6. My mate has bent one in his S15 i'm pretty sure. You could replace the stock ones with rose joint/pivot ball units which withstand higher loads, but according to him transferred more road noise, no biggie on the track though. Also, prep yourself before asking Nissan Australia for OEM prices, jaws will drop
  7. Excuse my noobness but what is that large cylinder atop the valve covers? I was gonna say oil catch can?
  8. I wonder if those plastic sleeved rivets would be more gentle on things like fibreglass mounting points, which can't sustain high tension without cracking...
  9. Auto XR6T's flutter hard with a pulled BOV vacuum line and a pod filter!
  10. So did ya get it!?
  11. Will there be a big table booked, or are we gonna have to sit all separately like kebab joint?
  12. Both of the above cars look pretty great IMO. I'd rather sacrifice looks and keep the rivets/holes than using bog to fill, due to the above mention of cracks forming and general tackiness of using mass amounts of bog.
  13. Animals - Martin Garrix
  14. You're comparing two difference types of metals though, cylinder head (alloy) vs block (iron). Iron is much less susceptible to warpage, and I'd imagine softening too. I'm no expert on this though, so I'll leave it at that. FYI, this will probably get locked since it's in the wrong section. Next time try Forced Induction Performance.
  15. Never heard of there being 'soft spots' in cylinders :S That looks like a classic case of piston slap/skirt damage.
  16. Ah! That explains it then. If you only have adjustable camber arms, and non adjustable traction arms, then GTSboy is right, your toe has increased inwards.
  17. No, I meant did you adjust both the 'camber' and radius/traction arms on both sides? It looks like both your upper arms are adjustable on each side. The Nissan multi-link is a pretty complex setup, and adjusting just one parameter changes the whole suspension dynamic; toe, caster, camber etc.
  18. Good point, I was assuming you adjust the traction arm with the upper arm when adjusting camber to compensate for rake/caster changes? If that was the case then the HICAS linkages would dictate toe. If in fact you only adjust the upper arm, then your theory would be correct. Any suspension experts out there? Edit: It looked like he does have adjustable traction arms, hence my logic stated above.
  19. It will almost certainly affect toe, and using my logic: adding negative camber will increase toe-in, subtracting negative camber (as you've done) will increase toe-out. Did you adjust both upper arms for camber? The change in toe would be minimal but you'd want to verify it by taking it to a shop.
  20. And it's a factory option? It sounds awesome, would love to see one, I love 90's gadgets.. Have never heard of anything like it fitted to a skyline.
  21. Hmmm "parking light on a stick" pretty technical term there, no go on google :[
  22. That sounds pretty unique, never heard of/seen one of those. Got pics of the actual unit?
  23. +1 Looks like a rocket bunny got tacked on. Yo dawg...
  24. Good to hear you're getting results guys! Mine doesn't either. GT-R/R34 only?
