  1. This looks awesome! XT7's? The first 4 door i've seen that just looks right... any more piccies?
  2. Anyone check out the dyno sheets? Between 5k - 7k RPM this thing would take off!
  3. Yeh if you're planning on going aftermarket dumps in the future, do it now!
  4. HID's? if so, they're probably about to die.
  5. Never heard of that happening before... why not pull the globe and find out!
  6. Seen this out a few times, such a unique looking colour combo and one of the sexiest GT-R's i've seen in the flesh.
  7. From above article "...the constant noise from hotted up cars is a health problem..." what an absolute wanker comment haha
  8. May have already been posted, but I'd be keen to know what kind of primer/paint you're using. What kind of durability of the paint are you expecting in the long term (esp on suspension and under body components)? I'd hate to go through all that to see it chip off after a few hundred kays... Sweet build though!
  9. Yeh, I had 6" components in my VL (back in the day ) and the bass of the 6x9's is so much more pronounced.
  10. You'll need to raise the speakers with spacers to make them fit - they wont fit flush. Alternatively you can look on ebay for some of those jdm clarion/pioneer speakers which sit on top of the parcel shelf.
  11. I've been for a few rides in my mates R35, and while it is viciously fast, it is so refined and the power delivery so smooth, that I don't find it that exciting (in a straight line anyway). A 260rwkw gts-t however, is so raw, peaky and abrupt in the way that it makes power, that it feels faster, and gets the adrenaline pumping harder
  12. Good to hear you got it back! I'd get a compression test/general inspection just to make sure it wasn't thrashed too badly.
  13. I haven't, but there's some more info/pics here than on that eBay ad: http://advanperformanceeuro.com.au/products/8-products/10-nashin-135i-335i-380-345-mm-floating-rotor-mono-block-caliper-bbk Wonder what the quality's like, they're pretty cheap! EDIT: after a bit more reading, apparently they're not 2 piece rotors, just cast to look 2 piece, with fake bolts and everything! Rice!
  14. That's a cool car, love the Delfi gauge setup. Did you do any further reinforcing of the lower coilover perches though? Looks kind of flimsy as is. (At least I think that's what i'm looking at haha)
  15. Instead of rubber washers, why not try thin plastic washers (similar to those used on bike fairings). Obviously strut top mounting bolts require higher torque values (~40ft-lb if my memory is correct) but the plastic washers should still protect the paint from cracking/blemishes. I would have thought rubber washers would 'grab' at the paint, while plastic washers will slide over the surface, reducing cracks and chips.
  16. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/322552-r33-s2-rb25det-stutteringhesitation-problem-at-specific-revs/ coilpacks. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/122908-rb25det-stutteringhesitating-problem/ plugs.
  17. Such a pretty colour, hoping the engine bay/rollcage/interior will be the same!
  18. Didn't study economics in school did you mate?

  20. Why not get a Greddy clear belt cover, best of both worlds! Would suck to drop a bolt down there once it's back in the car. Nice build btw!
  21. This is getting out of hand! Can't even park somewhere in broad daylight without it getting pinched. I'll be limiting my driving to round trips then back home from now on, stuff leaving it parked on the street anymore, let alone in a shopping center car park.
  22. Argh, I've got uni exams, probs can't make it down there this weekend. If you're around the CBD or Carrum again the weekend after, i'll grab em.
