i dont like the original cos mine didnt even have the lid..so i thought i'd rice it up a bit mr eps...the whole center console thing came out of an r33...just neater and more modern looking check it out next time we have a nsw ceffy meet up

three words-NEEDS MORE TORQUE my 32 2dr keeps up with the 33 boys in drags, and catchs up by the top of 3rd gear...weird...

oh and i forgot to add, if you get the one with the deeper pocket then you dont need to do the following... if you're like me and got one with a shallow pocket then you'll need to trim the bottom of the back of the console, where it sits on the transmission tunnel, i did mine with a knife, and then tried it again on a mate's car with soldering iron...use the soldering iron to melt it, it's much neater

take out the cut holder pocket so you can feel where the screw is going into and then that's it...all done and so modern

drill holes in the console pocket to line up with the holes in the blue cirle so you can screw it down, i should point out that some r33 consoles have deeper pockets, which are better, so see what you can find at the wrecker (try and get one with good handbrake boot)

cut off the long bits that's not gonna fit anywhere on the ceffy (the red circle is what it should looks like after cut)

ok fellas...this is for those who hate the ceffy center console or if you're like me and simply didnt have a lid on yours then look at the pics below...i did this in around 20 minutes and i think it looks/feels a lot better first a look at the finished product

if it's leaking fluid then it's too late replacing the boot aint gonna do much now...the seals in there are gone...get them rebuilt...or do it yourself and then replace the boot

mine's got an rb26 in it, and it was all covered as a part of compliance, the engineer signed for the engine and what ever other mods i have on the car. if your guy wont do it, then just shop around. someone will do it.

20th aint good for me either...lets meet at homebush...carpark near superdome, across the road from 6c...and then there's bbqs in the bi-centenial (spelling??) park in homebush...really nice area, lots of space and parking...kinda closer than lancove for the westsiders how about the week after...gives me a bit more time to get the car sorted too -

they come with the adapter for a skyline flange, i need to make the other side on the cooler pipe. so i can just bolt it on...i live 2 min away from bd4s...but i dont really wanna go there...they charge an arm, a leg, a kidney and maybe a testicle
