OK, the time has come, i need a car with more practical space, and no matter how much I love my gtst, it has to go ... will be getting a stagea in its place, so not leaving the scene alltogether ! the car will be available in 2 versions, with mods or without mods 63k kms, Solid red in colour (rare) good condition paint, couple of small scratches, but nothing major, all scratches are on plastic so would be easy to get re-sprayed. good condition interior, full series 2 spec Brant immob + alarm + full keyless entry, auto arming etc oil changed every 4000km with fully synth oil, almost a religon with me to change oil on this regular basis regardless of the i own ... car is NEVER pushed before at least 20 mins to driving to get the oil up to temp. Engine is noise free, no knocks or rattles, as far as i can tell its in excellent condition and has never run more than 14 psi. daily driving sees 13 psi. std alloys with good tyres (approx 80% left) 225x15 at each corner air con motors have been replaced 6 x NGK iridium sparkies aluminium areo guard thing, basically an ali plate that sits just under the bonnet catch, was on the car when i got it and aparently helps with rad airflow ?? comes with ericsson hands free car kit, with external antenna (on front screen) and handset cradle - this will take any of the newer style ericsson phones. car has been looked after extermely well, no expense spared, and has never been on the track. I am the first owner after it was imported to the country about 1 year ago, imported and complied by justjap in kirawee, and was delivered to me as 100% stock standard, there was no evidence of any modifications pre-compliance. All parts are standard unless listed below Modified version : 550cc Injectors, installed, cleaned and flowed less than 1000km ago Power FC + HC installed at the same time 3" turbo back (std cat) kakimoto exhaust - not too loud eclipse cd + gfx eq double din stereo, pioneer tweeters, and 4x pioneer 6" round walbro 500hp in tank pump malpassi fuel reg + std fuel reg bypass elbow (not fitted) $25,000 Un-modified version: basically as above but without the mods, all parts will be returned to standard spec apart from the stereo $23,000 so for 2 grand you are basically getting all the mods listed ! not sure how similar this is to the r33, but i ran them through the inside of the wing, then dropped in through the gromet just under the door hinge just my 2c

yeah, would be taking the gtst back to stock as much as poss for the sale .... i have pretty much all teh stock parts laying around .... still making my mind up about one at teh moment ... trying to persuade the wife to get a 4x4, which i think she has made her mind up to get one now, if she gets one, then will have no need to swap mine for a more sensible shaped car ... woohoo just that my wife is pretty short, and i have visions of her looking like a pea in a whistle driving a huge land cruiser or similar ... ok, researched, and it seems that the series 2 is indeed available as 'RS Four S' this being a 5 speed manual trans .... so the search continues .....

hmm, thanks for that, seems some more research on the 98 models is needed .... although for 3 - 4 k you could prolly do the manual conversion for that kind of money .... if not a bit less ...

Lo all ... possibly thinking of getting a stagea in the comming months, need a car with more boot space and passenger space, the r33 just cant cut it .... anyway, i cant stand autos, just somthing personal to me, so would be looking for a manual version, i know they are limited, or manual conversion ... so, the questions is how much should i be looking to pay for a '97 (ish) rs4 v manual V a manual conversion ... thanks for any input ...

anyone with a S2 tiptronic care to comment on how the change is ??? personally i've never driven a tiptronic that changes when you TELL it to change ... then again, i've not driven too many performance autos .... cheers

do you need to change the ecu or is the auto ecu the same as the man ecu ???

or rb30det - just a thought .... i mean, you have the head and all the rest of the running gear... just need a bottom end, and someone to do the changeover for you ...... unless you have access to a workshop cheaper than an rb26 just my 2c

for those interested, i got thi mail back from whiteline in regards to sway bars .. Your best bang for your buck improvement you can make to this suspension is to fit the matched front and rear Blade adjustable swaybars listed in the Handling Pack. I suggest that you also consider the other parts listed on the Handling Pack as your start point - these are the front caster kit KCA331 and rear camber adjusting bush kit KCA347. does not sound like plumbing, sounds more like electrical ... check all your electrical connections in the engine bay ....
