hey guys i am at the stage where i need to sort some sort of management for my RB20 silvia. Now i have been doing a bit of reading around the web, trying to see how the Emanage has worked on cars similar to mine as not many people seem to run them here. However with Greddy recently launching the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate - it is now a high contender on my mind. So my question is: why would you use a power fc/microtech over a GreddyE-manage if it can do ignition, fuel maps, air flow meter changes etc with the emanage? if anyone has had experience with them, pls post up!!!!! thanks sammy

ok guys well the update on the sitution is unfortunitly not good - she is STILL not working Today we did: * tried a different AFM * new spark plugs * cleaned AAC valve * checked all vacuum lining * Adjusted CAS with hand to see if that did anything as suggested but didnt make any difference. * sprayed all connections with contact /electrical cleaner We can gather that the engine is getting more than enough fuel as the spark plugs get flooded with fuel not long after putting them in Sparkies are still sparking and the car is still cranking but NOT starting. So basically guys i mean we dont think the engine has popped but it is definitly getting fuel, spark and air so i dont know where to go now would getting a new CAS be on the cards??? Any pointers would be really helpful guys its much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks so far for all ur comments - KEEP EM FLOWING!!!! Sammy

hey everyone i have a problem with my engine again (RB20DET silvia) as some of you know i took it out to the track day at qr last week car was fine until the end when i lost power. I thought it was intercooler piping but got back to the pits and found out it wasnt Eventually got her home but with a lot of effort It was very boggy in low revs and then a little less boggy in higher revs. Got it home and now it wont start, it is cranking but not starting we have tried: battery voltage is fine, brand new spark plugs coils are fine (coil leads are sparking spark plugs) above point rules out wiring and ignitor plenty of fuel in the tank taken the exhaust off before the cat to make sure it hadnt clogged clutch-starting doesnt work fuel pump makes it usual whine on start-up injectors seem to be fine, fairly decent smell of petrol in the engine bay vaccum lines all checked. fuel lines are fine. fuel filter is fine. so what else does this leave me with? crank-angle sensor? anything else? your help would be very appreciated

* she lol we have bought some coils and tried them, however is it possible that red top and silver top coils are different??? cause despite the fact that we bought 'rb20' coils - they are not exactly the same as the ones in the car.

Hey there I have a Silvia with an rb20det in it Currently one of my coils - second from the back is overheating/melting and is NOT sparking either. ---It sounds like a WRX----- What would be wrong? We have tried a range of new rb20 coils and checked the spark plug and all are fine any help would be appriciated! cheers sammy
