  1. Thanks for all the advise. The stud that got snapped was the very first TOP one closest to the fan. I really don't want to pull out the manifold and create more problems. I think the best will be driving to a work shop to get it done. If it is too expensive at the shop then I'll DIY. Cheers!
  2. Hi all! What a bad start of the new year. I try to tighten the nuts to the exhaust manifold (as it is making nosie when turbo kicks in as well as it was loose) and it snapped at the engine block. What can I do now! Who can I go to to get it repair? Hope that will not cost a lot of $$$$. Please help!
  3. I have the same problem too. Have a look at the exahust manifold and found 1 loose nut. Tru to tighten it but it would not tighten up. So I try the next one, same. Cannot tighten up. Does any of yours have the same problem?
  4. Mate! How do you grease it? Can you tell us where to as well?

  9. Mate! I have the 5 nobs type and the installation is the same except for the RPM in put on mine. PM me your e-mail and I will mail you the installation manual.

    Mate! Try justjap in sydney.
  11. Mate! Is yours the single nob, 5 nobs, or the digital blue screen type? I can probably help you with the single nob and the 5 nobs installation guide.
  12. Well I got better way of doing that. You can "T" it off the silver pipe that that runs to the throttle(where your BOV is). Look carefully and you will see a hose that runs from that silver pipe to the inlet manifold. Its a bigger diameter hose and you will not miss it. This is what you need: 1. "T" brass fitting that fits the diameter of the hose from local plumbing store ($16) 2. 1/4 inch barb fittings (the nipple) to suit the "T" brass fitting from pirteck hose supply or Enzed hose supply($2) 3. 2 x clamps With that, all you have to do is to cut the bigger diameter hose and install the brass "T" into it. Run the hose (supplied by the FMIC supply) into the 1/4 inch barb fitting (nipple) to the wastegate. DONE!
  13. Mate! Which FMIC kit do you have? Are you talking about the nipple on the original pipe near the air filter?
  14. Mate! I think by shorten the wastegate rod will increase boost. From memory, there should be a nut on the rod itself you can elongate or shorten the rod.
  15. OMG! I am away for holiday that week end! Not happy!!!!
  16. Hey! Same here. Just installed my front mount and the both fog / blinker were on my way when putting back the front bar. I just took the fog / blinker out at this stage. I need find 20mm some where to get it in. I think I will notch out 20mm from the fog / blinker coner.
  17. This is what I think. With a FMIC, you will notice very little gain on the dyno as there is not much air flow to cool the charged air from the turbo. But on driving on the road is different story. You will feel the difference but you cannot measure the power unless you have got some sort of instrument to measure power on board. I feel the difference when I change to FMIC even on stock boost. Pulls harder as the charged air is cooler so more dense.
  18. Well its been two weeks now and finally got my intercooler installed. The only problem I have got is that the fornt fog light does not fit. I have to take it out. Dont understand it as I have mounted as far in (close to the AC fan) as possible but still my fog light does not fit. Any clues?
  19. Thanks mate! will give them a ring.
  20. Ya! you might be right. I think it is ultimate tune. I am thinking of tuning my SAFC. Price seems good too. I think its $200 to tune my SAFC.
  21. Anyone heard of ultimate performance in Phillip? A friend of mine said that they are pretty good. I thought of getting my car for a dyno tune.
  22. YeeHa.......! Passed my vehicle inspection today! No problem at all!!! Got my ACT number plate now. Very Happy.
  23. Hi Guys! Anyone know where to get a replacement for seat belt in Canberra? Mine has worn off and I think I better get it replace for safety reason. Cheers!
  24. Nugget, that was scary! My car has been booked for an inspection this Monday as I need to transfer the NSW Rego to ACT rego. Hope that does not happen to me!
