Here is a graph of my GT35 with .82 rear on a decent manifold setup also i plotted it on brockas graph to compare, its the black line.

great to see the back to back result, would bee good to see the power the gt35 would make with the same amount of boost as the to4z. Interesting to see it lost 110 HP through the midrange to gain only 80hp top end. If the gt35 didnt taper off boost so much in the higher revs the top end power figures would be alot closer.

Keen to see a comparison vs your gt35. what boost to make 580rwhp? How much longer (RPM) to reach full boost than gt35?

As MBS206 said i would not touch the bottm end, just bolt the head on. Unless your going to bore it and use nissan rings or better, i dont think you will get as good seal as the stock motor/rings. I had a stocker bottom endwith over 300,000kms on the vl it came from in a r32 it made 312rwkw for couple of years before i decided to build a 4wd forged motor. Trick is to keep revs to 7000rpm or under.

I wouldnt waste time building the motor with ACL cast pistons and rings. Stock rings are stronger, so id just use a stock bottom end (un-touched). you would be surprised how much power they will handle I started with RB20 hiflow on mine and made 240rwkw, so you should do 250rwkw with the rb25 housings.

I have broken 3 stockj (old) mounts, all had heat sheild in place, now have nismo mounts and havent cheke since, doestnt seem to be broken....

Got a Unichip proramable Piggy back ECU with programable boost control module as part of the ecu, to suit any nissan. This ECU wires into the stock loom and allows you to tune timing , fuel etc of the stock ECU, simple to install, great cheap way to tune your car. looking for $500, open to reasonable offers. PM me. Sounds like you just got you head stuck in the sand mate, you reckon you will beleive it when you see it, then you see it and still say its bull s**t. Just coz you cant build a motor with the right parts to make that power doesnt mean it can be done, you have been told by several people 400rwkw can be acheived with .82. My dyno was Rwkw not 4wkw, and running 20psi on BP ultimate. 1/8mile Timeslip with MPH to back up the power it makes below (works out to 134-136MPH over 1/4 mile), so maybe its time you pulled your head out of the sand and got the right parts in your motor.

So your telling me you know my car better than me and i dont make that sort of power just coz you cant do the same with yours????? It run 170km/h in the 1/8mile, whats that tell you??

Using no cat is definately an advantage, i had a high-flow 3" cat (new) and made an extra 20RWKW without the cat.... Looking through the middle of any cat converter it is pretty simple science to figure out they wont flow as good as a bit of hollow pipe.

Paul, What sort of power did you get out of it in the end? What bost you settle on?

That is the worst comparison i have seen, your saying the rb30 will only make 170+ hp until 6000rpm just because the dyno run only revs to 6000rpm??? The rb30 will hold over 170hp till well after what your saying. Can u tell me what boost and power you think the rb20 would be making at 2500rpm?? I would guess - 0psi, and 50HP, compare that to the RB30 you show which is already on full boost and making 135HP., the rb20 doesnt make 135hp until 4000rpm.
