Nismoid, did you use an electric boost controller to boost up over your 14psi base? How much boost? I havnt tried it on the car yet, i just used compressed air to test when it opens, and it didnt open till it seen 20psi. I have the single big red spring which is meant to be 14psi. Anyone else confirm??

I have always thought of going twins for better response than my GT35, but cant see how twins with the same combined HP rating as a single would boost quicker when they are only driven by 3 cylinders. I have full boost with my GT35 at 3400rpm, would twins that are combined rated to 700hp boost that early? What RPM does antonys GTR make full boost?

Need to know what PSI base springs people are running in turbosmart 48mm wastegate.?? I have just put a 14psi spring in mine and tested with an air source it wont open the valve till it gets 20psi boost, at 14 psi the valve wont even move. I would like to run as low as 14 psi on the street , and use my EBC to run a max boost of around 20-22psi. What springs are others with these turbosmart gates running? And does anyone successfuly run a low psi spring and increase boost via an EBC up to 20+ PSi?

I thought t04z are rated at 750-800hp? You should get atleast 450rwkw.

Are the ATI, or ROSS balancers any heavier than a Stock RB26 one?

Using a 2:1 malpassi reg, it will build a higher rail pressure, and alow the injectors to flow more fuel when open, So the 270cc injectors become more like 400cc at say 60-70psi rail pressure

There is nothing in there to really say that either one is of any greater benefit. I want to rev the engine as hard as possible, like 7800-8000rpm.

Here is one thats a bit crazy, 2000hp chev with a twin turbo 522ci engine driving on the street.

Depending on what pump and what regulator is being used, ive had 250rwkw with malpasi and bosch 044 still had a bit left in them befroe max. Ive heard of 265rwkw out of them but the rail pressure would be high.

Has anyone got any idea if a RB26 harmonic ballancer is better suited to use on my RB30det compared to using a RB20det ballancer.?? THe RB26 ballancer is a bit bigger and has more weight to it when comparing to the RB20 one. What are peoples thoughts??

I was under the impression that running a synthetic for running in was bad as it willl glaze the bores and not let the rings bed in.

Does removing the dampner make the pedal heavier, or lighter?
