  1. Just want to know what figure the stock torque split gauge in the dash sits on when cruising at 90-110km/h in 5th gear.?? Mine is nearly on the second dash at 100km/h, i cant remember if this is normal or not, when i cruise at slower speeds say60-70 it sits on the bottom.
  2. Its a boomerang alarm, think model is a-2000, does that make sense? Anyone got wiring diagram for the alarm?
  3. I live in the country, there are plenty of open roads, being 4WD its gets the power down very well.

  9. Im now sick of 382rwkw that ive only had for 1 week, but have been driving it a fair bit. As mentioned the less you drive your car the better it feels.

  13. Gary- The design is a fair compromise for room to make fit as i wanted to low mount the GT35. I wasnt too sure how well the wastegate pipes would work (again clearance limited) but it will run as low as 14-15psi boost. Im using a Blitz dual SBC to boost up to 17psi via the bottom port only, when i try and increase the boost more than this via the conrtller i get problems with unstable boost. Im only running a 11psi spring in the gate, would this be the problem?? I have a 15psi spring to try.
  14. Turbo is GT35/40 .82 rear, mounted on custom manifold i made, cams are 260deg. I suspect the gate may be even too small, will try with the 15psi spring first.
  15. Darren- Yes the 4WD is sweet, much faster car than my Black r32 RB30. Stan- Still the stock RB30 bottom end from last car with 300,000+kms on it, just wondering how long the rods will last..... Ash- Ive spoken to a few people with fast GTRs and they reckon380-400rwkw is needed to get into the 10s
  16. Soun good joel, With the RB25covr in my black car i never had to chop the bonnet supports, just modifed the engine mounts.
  17. brad- Im using a tial 38mm gate, with only a 10psi pring, i think that could be a problem.
  18. My new setup in My R32 GTS4, Made 382rwkw at only 17.5psi, had some boost issues wen trying to go over 17psi. Stock RB30 bottom end GTR head GTR plenum Custom exhaust manifold made by myself GT35/40 turbo Microtech ECU
  19. I finally got my engine going and tuned yesterday, made 382rwkw on only 17.5psi boost. Had issues with boost control, if i tried to boost it over 17 psi it would just go crazy and make 25+psi, tried a few different ways using top and bottom port on the wastegate, but had same problem each way. Im currently running a 10psi spring, i will try the 15psi spring i have. Any one know if using a 10 psi spring to try and run 20psi via and EBC can cause this??

  21. Joel- I made the drawing of the head flange and got a mate to profile cut it. Rb25 head with a side plenum would clear the bonnet better than GTR as the front timing gear cover is wider and fouls on the front corner, the rb25 cover isnt as wide. How much $ you picking the 4 door up for?

  23. Craig- Head over when your around, show you what a RB30 can do, if its not broken.... Joel- yeah better than RB25, still stock GTR plenum, Bit bigger cams than stock.
  24. Yeah, it takes off so much beter than the 2WD. New setup is has Better cams, better plenum, better exhaust manifold. I hope to sort the boost out soon to run around 20psi and get a bit more out of it, need to build my bottom end now so i can rev the thing, power still going up at 7000rpm limiter.
